Any other mom out there have a daughter who LOVES her fancy sneakers being nice and clean, but who can't seem to avoid getting them filthy?Surely I'm not the only one who has a daughter who loves buying new shoes but who does not like them looking dirty. That's why I bought these sneaker cleaners. I'd been using traditional magic erasers on shoes for at least a decade. That's a solution that works, though it's unrefined and I often need to grab another tool. These little cleaners work much the same way, but with an improved form. I'd choose these for a few reasons:1) The shape is easier to hold when trying to wipe the lower portions of shoes, and especially easier to hold when working on details.2) The scrubby side makes it easy to switch cleaning surfaces.3) The magic eraser side does eventually wear away, as it's supposed to, but with it being a smaller shape to begin with, it seems to disintegrate in a more useful way. That's hard to describe, but I find that typical magical erasers just fall apart randomly, leaving little bits I can't use for anything. These, being smaller and attached to the scrubby side, tend to still be useful for cleaning as they wear out.4) These are easily portable to drop into our golf or gym bags, for example, to use them when needed on-the-go.5) The dedicated product makes this into a fun job for my kids to do themselves. Really! That's a win.

As my titles suggests, they are alright, they will clean shoes and get the soles white. They are essentially the same as a magic eraser but with a coarse scrubber on the other side. I tried these on my OnClouds which seemed to have gotten some dye form a new pair of jeans on them. They worked a little bit but were not able to remove the stain. They did get the dirt that was on the shoes off though so I know I might have been asking a little extra for trying to get the dye stain out. Honestly the deal breaker for me is the cost, especially when compared to just buying a magic eraser at less than half the cost and getting the same result. The coarse scrubber doesn't justify the significantly higher cost of these in my opinion. There are just too many cheaper alternatives providing the same cleaning ease and results.
