These are the perfect Tuckaway cupholders. We install them on the boat. Don’t be impatient and folding them for storage as to not break. They are durable. Great deal for the value

I received 2 of these very quickly. Great shipping time. I thought they were gonna work in my bass boat but I installed them both with no problems. Now I installed them after I refurbished my boat. It was the last thing to put in before putting it back in the water. I launched the boat and started heading down the lake and bam one of the 2 broke where it holds the the middle of can or cup. As soon as I came home I went onto amazon to see what I could do and wouldn't you know it , my last day was yesterday. Seriously???? No kidding one day. I used it for less than 5 minutes and it broke . I bought alot of my items at the same time for my project boat. I hope they contact me and handle this. I will update soon should of bought it at Walmart.

First off, I always buy my products for full price and never accept discounted products for reviews. My rating Criteria is as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc.I bought this as an Add On Item for $4.11, so my review is based on that price.First off, this drink holder works just like it is supposed to. I attached it two to my fiberglass boat with the sticky tape, and so far they have not fallen off. They come with sticky tape and screws. It folds up and out of the way when not in use. The top "arms" of the drink holder expand pretty far--more than far enough to accommodate a large size fountain drink from a convenience store or a plastic insulated tumbler or a can with a coozy.As for quality, this is a plastic cup holder for $4. Its not carbon fiber or stainless steel, if you drop something on it or bump into it it probably won't survive, but so far mine have held up. So far, when I fold it up it stays folded up and doesn't flop back open. I don't see any immediate problems with quality--and ordered six of them (four for one boat, two for my canoe).Like I said earlier, the price when I got them was $4.11 as an Amazon Add On. That was a great price, especially when I bought six of them.**UPDATE**After using it all last year up until now, I can report that so far the quality has exceeded my expectations. The expandable "claws" still adjust fine and the cup holder still can be folded back up and stays there.One of my concerns was that if I used the included sticky tape to attach it that it wouldn't last. It lasted all last season and up until I dropped a kayak on them. (I was putting the small kayak into the boat to haul it to the lake.) When I tried to peel the tape off the fiberglass, it was stuck on there very well. So I would say the tape sticks to fiberglass extremely well. An added bonus of using the tape is that had I screwed the holder on, it would have broke into pieces when the kayak fell on it. Instead, the accident just knocked the holder off, undamaged, and I could just get another piece of that 3M sticky tape and get back to normal.So after a couple seasons of use, its still a five star product.

I put it in my ol pick em up truck and its held up for a quite a while, a year now maybe? Its nothin too fancy, but it gets the job done, and its nice that its adjustable so it holds the beer nice and tight so it doesnt spill all over the carpet and seats. Ill probably buy a few more as extras and one for my pops

I bought 3 total of these - to replace a far more expensive and inferior product from West Marine.These are awesome -- come with ample mounting hardware, are adjustable in width, and are made of proper plastic to be used in proximity to the ocean.I paid $15 each for two similar products at West Marine. The West Marine version did not come with mounting hardware. Also, it didn't hold up to the ocean and both of them became brittle and broke. I am very, very pleased with these.

Yes its the same fragile white plastic cup holder that came on my friends late 90's boat, but the damn thing will hold a beer! If its in the down position and someone runs into, its going to break. We weighed our options, and considered that if the same thing were to happen to the chrome one, we might strip the mounts on the boat. Thats bad.So we bought a few extras. Last 4th of July we had way too many people on the boat in a cove and someone inevitably broke off the new one while trying to sit in the passenger seat. No problems. He went in the cabin, pulled out another one of these and installed a new one. Beer was drank and since it was just a cheap holder replacement my buddy saved himself from insurance fraud by not having to set fire to the boat later that night in order to pay for what may have been one of the most expensive boat repairs we could have ever witnessed. Close call! Thanks Shoreline Marine Drink Holder!
