I got hit by a car 13 days after getting my R3 and the previous owner left these on and it saved my bike. When my bike landed it bent the old one on the left side in so I got these as replacements and I’m never not having a pair on my bike. I did have to go buy a different hex head to put them on as I surprisingly didn’t have the size but that wasn’t too big of a problem just take the bolt with you to the hardware store. It’s a small price to pay for not cracking your engine and it saved my butt.

They look great and seem kinda soft, it might get eaten by the friction on a slide, but i guess that's the point to absorb some of the impact and gradually get sanded by the asphalt, hopefully it wont bed X) One thing is for sure, they might be a one time use, which is no issue if it ends up minimizing actual damages on the bike, time will tell :)

Does not come with end caps. Kind of misleading when the picture has them advertised that way.

Easy installation and good addition for any new rider. Can’t speak to their performance, knock on wood, but it is reassuring to have them just in case.
