Tried with butane so far and I'm very pleased with my purchase as well it's a bonus to be able to run propane as well. How ever the carrying case it comes in is terribly cheap and flimsy and won't last long at all.

Great apartment stove, in case of an emergency. Need enough fuel to match your expected power outages, floods, storms etc. I got a 25lb LP tank adapter long hose to go directly from the gas station propane tank to the stove, works perfect. Stove on the electric stove, with enough hose to reach the LP tank on the floor, great config. But for space and safety I store the liquid fuel in the house, ready to use quickly. You can pick up propane tanks any time from a gas station, Walmart, etc, good to have a couple, as the LP never goes bad, so you can store it forever, unlike gasoline, which you need to cycle through annually, its just too bulky and ugly to keep in the apt/house.

After Hurricane Helene I wanted a cooktop for emergencies. This ignited first try with a propane cylinder. The instructions included are pretty much useless and the carrying case is flimsy but that's secondary imo, especially considering the price. It will be able to boil water for coffee or cook a small meal and that's all I need

You must assemble thi, but Without instructions this could be dangerous. Return as I could not figure how to safely assemble it

Purchased for power outages so I can have my coffee, got to have my coffee. Single burner stove works well. Dual fuel as in butane / propane gas. Heat output is good as well as quality. Large enough to safely cook with medium size pot or pan, yet small size for easy storage. Quick and easy lighting with a safe ignition built in gas valve. No leaks and ready to use out of box. Comes with carrying case that is not very durable. Good versital stove that should last for years.

Worked well and was idiot proof for my very first camping trip. Used it to boil water to make coffee.

I received my camping stove the day I left for a 2 month camping/roadtrip. The box was smashed, wasn't expecting the product itself to also be damaged & did not find out until after my 4 hr drive to my destination and I was completely unpacked & setup. Dinner time rolls around & I opened up the box to find the case & camp stove crushed/bent completely on one corner. The door that opens for the cylinder barely hanging on & the cylinder unable to fit in the chamber. I not only was unable to use my camp stove , but unable to make a return for a new one within the 30 days because I was out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the forest 2-1/2 hrs from a town, with no service/internet.I was NOT about to drive to the nearest town just to make a complaint/return so I waited until I needed supplies 3 weeks later, did the formalities with explanation and pictures, but was denied & told I could not do a return. So I'm stuck with a broken unusable camp stove. 👍✔️

Butane cans are impossible to find around my area, so I use only the propane feature.. (Plus propane is wayy cheaper).. and my experience has been nothing but positive. I use it as my main gas cooker in my apartment. They warn you to only use it in well ventilated areas... but that's just lawsuit prevention..The materials its made of seem no more or less flimsy than others I have owned.. They are all made to be light-weight and portable for camping and whatnot. The hose is long enough to not be a nuisance, and easily connect to a 1lb propane cylinder standing upright. The hose connections fit tight and do not leak (I'm a licensed plumber, so i know all about gas leaks)..The flame adjustment is actually better than some others that cost more. You can adjust it easily from full boil to barely a simmer, and it stays where you put it. (I have owned ones that didn't)Everything arrived un-damaged.. I'll never use the plastic case, so I cannot attest to it's durability, but I suspect it is as fragile as all the rest on the market.Overall, for the price, you really can't do better for a dual-fuel burner... I'm likely going to buy another.UPDATE: 3 months later and I'm still using it every single day.. My local Walmart finally got some butane cans in stock, so I've been using those lateley (they seem to burn hotter). This burner is performing FLAWLESSLY... You can seriously stop shopping around now... Buy this one!

I do a lot of camping. A LOT. I have had many different stoves over the years, starting with my first "swedish meatball" from the 70s that ran on kerosene/white gas. I don't do backpacking anymore so I need a stove that supports the other stoves I have and works around my camping needs. This little gem fits my needs to the "T". If I am making coffee or just a one pot meal, I whip this baby out. The fact that it works on both propane (3 seasons) and butane (winter) is brilliant! I use the refillable 1lb. canisters, so the economy of this stove, for me, is pennies. I only use the butane canisters when the temps are too low for the propane. The flame configuration is well engineered and produces a very efficient heating flame that makes coffee in no time. The unit is lightweight, easy to run, swap fuel designations, and comes with a carrying case that packs well. For $40 bucks, it was well worth it (again for me).
