This product is pretty flimsy and bends quite easily as we try to empty the hot ashes from the fireplace. Definitely on the lookout for a more sturdy option than this one!

Very sturdy. Works great in our fireplace. I bent our previous fireplace shovel (different brand). This one seems much more durable.
