This dish set is comprised of 1 long rectangular medium shade color wooden board, intended for use as a serving or display tray, and 3 ceramic dishes. The 3 dishes are all the same size, round bowl shape, and white color. The board also has 3 indentations equally spread out across it's surface, as a marker for placing the bowls into designated positions. They are smaller than the standard common size bowl one might use for foods like cereal, etc. Instead, these bowls are more the size of bowls one would use for foods such as desserts, dips, sauces, side dishes, soups or salads on the side, small amounts of snacks, etc.These bowls do appear to be well made from good quality materials. However, since I have no plans to directly test their durability, as I don't want broken bowls in my brand new set, I cannot assess their durability with certainty. But I can say these ceramic bowls have a reasonably thick wall, and are heavy enough for their size, that I would expect them to be at least as durable as the average similiarly designed ceramic bowl.5 out of 5 stars.

The stoneware bowls are an elegant and classic white color. The size is perfect for many applications, and they fit in the top rack of my dishwasher perfectly. The wood tray is brilliant! First of all, it is stunning. The natural beauty of the wood makes for a striking presentation. The finish is flawless too. The bowls fit in the tray grooves very well. You can carry this around without worrying about them sliding around and crashing to the floor.My family likes fresh fruit for breakfast. I typically cut up differnt fruits and stick them all in a bowl. My son likes bananas and pineapple, but doesn't care for berries or citrus. My husband doesn't reaslly like bananas, and I don't care for citrus which means everybody picks out what they want from the one bowl. Now I can seperate the fruits. Yes, I could have done this before, but that tray just seems to make the difference for some reason. It looks like I really made an effort to make a breakfast presentation vs just serving something healthy.I also used it to hold condiments for panini night, and different toppings for taco night. I also have plans to use it to hold different dips to go with chips, and different olives to accompany a charcuterie board. Honestly, the possibilities are endless, and the diffence is the wood tray. It makes for a classy presentation, while also making serving and clean up a breeze.It's a very nice addition to my serving trays and platters collection. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it!

I really like this set of dishes, they are the perfect size for dips and such for a small or medium sized gathering. I like that they come with the stand that holds all three in one spot. Made of nice materials (not plastic!) and the bowls were fine in my dishwasher. Great set if you like to entertain!
