Their advantage over other jig heads lies in their unique design, which provides a darting, lifelike action in the water, mimicking the movement of small baitfish. This action, combined with their bright colors and reflective finishes, makes them highly effective at attracting fish, especially in clear or shallow waters

This kit is great , they give you 5 of each of the best color shad jigs in a decent little storage box although my box was broken I used tape to keep the lid on it and other than that this is a great buy .. sharp hooks

These jig heads are pretty nice, the color selection is good. The bait keep works well, I put a soft plastic bait on it and it definitely keeps it in place. The hook is sharp, I tried to bed it, not super hard but more that what a fish would do and it didn’t bend. The one complaint I have is the paint and the overall finishing work. The paint is chipping and not consistent in coverage of the jig head. I had one in my package that had the eye glued in a way that it sticks out;l, see images. Overall this is a decent set and the price is right.

The first fish I caught on an artificial lure was a string of seven crappies I caught on a black, bucktail jig. This was abut 65 years ago, and it is still a vivid memory for me. After catching seven crappies, all the bucktail had been removed from the jig. I had a yellow jig and a red jig, but the crappies wanted nothing to do with those colors.I deducted three stars due to the yellow jigs with the green and yellow head easily lose their bucktail. It reminded me of my frustration when my black, bucktail jig lost all of its hair. I will use some thread and superglue to reinforce the tying on the yellow jigs. This reflects a serious lapse in quality control in the manufacturing process. Perhaps I was just unlucky with this batch. If you order these, lightly pull the hair on all the jigs and see if any comes out.I also noticed a few hooks had slightly bent over points, but this was very minor compared to some other lures I have reviewed. Still, you might want to check the points, especially if you are fishing for fish with harder mouths than crappies. The 1/4 ounce is a great, all purpose size. Adding a safety pin spinner often makes them even more effective. I've had good luck with this size for crappies, bass, and walleyes.

Awesome finesse bucktail jigs in a great selection of colors. The kit of 25 jigs represents a good value and will keep me Crappie fishing for awhile.

These are nice bucktail dart jigs. They come in a variety of colors and should work well with or without a plastic. They have nice realistic eyes and the quality control is excellent in the finish, the paint job and the bucktail application. Hooks are sharp and strong. Nice jigs.
