My garden is a combination of DIY raised beds made from offcuts (cants, slabs) from a neighbor's sawmill and galvanized steel manufactured beds. I like the look of these corner brackets for making a small herb raised bed from sawmill offcuts. These corner brackets can replace the typical 2x3 board that I use in the corners.Hardware is included and looks a bit iffy. There is a set of 1" screws and another set of 1 1/2" screws, neither of which is galvanized. I would replace them with galvanized joist hanger nails, but the holes in the brackets look slighty small. Once I iron out the hardware issue, I am hopeful that this will help make a strong and attractive raised bed. I'd never heard of the term "pallet collar hinges" but whether or not that is a real term these are great for beefing-up corners of garden beds or other box structures made from lumber. Strong without being overkill, and nicely-finished enough that you can leave them visible.
