This is the perfect light weight bobbin thread for my multi-needle Embroidery Machine.I am so very pleased with this! It's a great value. I keep coming back to purchase again and again. I use more white than black bobbin thread, but I like that I can choose and get 2 white or one of each white & black.

Works great. I've only ever used this bobbin thread. Never had an issue ive shared the back side of some designs ive made because if the bobbin thread wasn't good the designs turn out.

My embroidery machine just doesn't seem to like pre-wound bobbins. While they might be much easier, I have found I must pull off about 10-20 yards of thread for them to work correctly. That's just ridiculous and wasteful. So, winding my own bobbins was the answer. This thread is the best I have found for the price. The black lasts a lot longer (for me) than the white, so luckily I can buy the white separately - This is my "go to" bobbin thread and I order it ALL THE TIME!If you have found that your machine doesn't like those pre-wound bobbins - or you just are not happy with the thread quality on them - and you'd rather wind your own, THIS is the stuff to use! The quality is great (better than pre-winds) and the spools last a really long time!

So far it seems to be in par with my Favorite TAO Embroidery thread. I bought this only because TAO was out of black and I really needed balck. This is a 60wt polyester "BOBBIN" thread and would not use it for any kind of stitching that needs heavy duty, but I am going to try it on regular sewing, as in garments as a bobbin thread. I bought the large ones because I knew I would use them more. The first time I used the black my bottom bobbin bunched up so bad and ruined what I was working on. The thread feels much thinner then the other embroidery thread I have gotten from Embroidex.

I knew I was taking a chance when I made this purchase. Because of Amazon's amazing return policy, I decided that I had nothing to lose here.Well....I did need to insert my sewing machine's vertical spool pin and a felt disk.Also...to keep the spool from rolling around on the top of the machine and hitting the bobbin winder, etc., we traced the spool's bottom end on a piece of scrap felt that we had onhand. We added about 1/4", and then cut the circle out. My dh made a couple of folds (I wasn't watching), and put a small hole in the middle of the felt circle. It fit perfectly when he slid this over the top of the spool pin! Then, my husband added about 3 empty bobbins to fill up the space in the middle. We then placed the spool on top, set up a bobbin to wind, and was pleasantly surprised when everything worked! I'm thrilled that I know my machine can now handle the larger spools of thread after a couple of "make dos"! I would highly recommend these as the perfect thread for bobbins--esp. when you need to baste a lot, like I do!

Thanks so much for a set of black/white bobbin fill! Little spools are a pain to keep track of, these will be handy and last for quite awhile. One thing that would be nice: a label inside or under the bottom of the spool designating that it is bobbin weight and not regular embroidery weight. Being new to machine embroidery and collecting lots of spools for my inventory, it would be easy to make mistake of using it for top thread until I gain more experience of telling the difference between weights.

These are HUGE! They will last me a long time! Works great on my PE-770 machine, they will not fit on the machine so a thread stand is recommended. Since I don't have a thread stand yet I just set it on the table behind my machine and thread it as usual, works great!
