I loved this fountain, it was the right size and sounded great. Unfortunately it QUIT working after 8 months.

It looks great, but is totally useless without a power cord, which was not included.

I received this fountain on Friday, August 3, about an hour before I left work. I had time to unbox it, get the reservoir filled with water, set it up, crawl under my desk to find an outlet, and plug it in. Setup was not difficult. I didn't bother with the instructions - you fill the reservoir with water, stick the nozzle that's on the water pump into the clear plastic tube leading to the top of the fountain, set the fountain on the black plastic base, and plug it in.As I said, got it set up and tested it on late Friday, August 3, 2018. It worked, I was happy, coworkers were jealous, and I almost couldn't wait to get back to work on Monday (I honestly love my job, this just made it even cooler).On Sunday, August 5, 2018, I broke my leg.I had to work from home for about 3 months as I wasn't really weight bearing in that time (again, love my job, I get to work from home for MONTHS!), and all I could think of is how bummed I was that I didn't have the fountain. It didn't matter how many smart switches and remote controlled fans and echo spots I got to make my home life easier with my newfound limited mobility, all I could think of was how much I wanted to be at my desk with this fountain running.I've since been back to work for over 3 months, and I've had that fountain turned on every day I am at my desk. I had to get some water conditioner - nothing serious, but I want to make sure that the water stays clean in case I'm out for 3 months again. People are glad I'm back, partly because they missed having me around, but mostly because they can come visit the fountain whenever they want.Some accessories you might want to consider: I bought a desktop tower-shaped surge protector with an on/off switch on the top of it: I got this because the cord for the fountain has no form of an in-line switch, and I was not risking my newly-healed leg by climbing under my desk every day to plug this sucker in. I also bought a bag of small river pebbles. I wasn't a huge fan of the flat gray base of the 'fountain' part of the fountain, so I decided to commit and cover that flat gray expanse with the pebbles. It looks a LOT better now with that addition. Lifting the fountain off the base will be kind of a hassle, but a) I bought the water conditioner, fingers crossed, and b) the only other option (which I haven't ruled out) is hot gluing the pebbles to that flat gray part.It won't let me rate aesthetics of this fountain, and for that I would give it 4 stars, because I have no control over the LED light. I feel like it wouldn't be too difficult or expensive to give the user a choice to either pick one color and have that color on without changing, or to cycle through the colors as it currently does, or turn the light off without cutting the wire to the LED and praying that electrical tape is enough to keep the water from shorting out your electricity. I also feel like maybe I'm missing out because at least one other mini basin has a hole in it, and looks like maybe another light was supposed to be in there, but either it's an optional extra or the manufacturer decided to change the design of the fountain.Overall, I am stupidly pleased with this purchase. The hum of the motor is extremely quiet, the water flow is great (as long as you make sure the basin has enough water), and coworkers are jealous. Mission accomplished.

Pump doesn’t work.

All I can say about this fountain it's quiet and beautiful.

Very easy to assemble. Quiet, maybe a little too quiet for me. I'd like to hear the water a little more, but when I increase the water flow to increase the sound, the water splashes out of the base. Also a little challenging to determine the water level. There is a small opening at back where you can insert one finger to get some idea of water level. Was hoping to use rocks, but not feasible with this one. Overall, good value

This is attractive and works as advertised. The instructions that come with the fountain are not detailed enough to follow. I contacted customer service and they sent me the same instructions in the box. I went to YouTube to view a video on how to set up fountain. I still cannot figure out where to place the suction cups on the pump, but fountain is working and provides relaxation.
