Seasonic is one of the top names in PSUs for a reason. Admittedly, this PSU is complete overkill for my system (R5 7500F + 7900xt), but it is nice to have it, knowing I could max out my system with a 250W CPU and 450W GPU later down the line and have no issues. Plan to keep this unit for the next 7 years, will keep this review updated if anything bad happens.

This PSU is an A or even S tier unit on most Power Supply Tier Lists. Seasonic know what they are doing when it comes to PSUs and have been in the game for a long long time. Fully modular, 80+ Gold efficiency, small in size to fit into nearly any case, high quality components, the option via toggle switch to enable Eco mode which turns the fan off under low load or disable it which always leaves the fan on, sleeved high quality cables, TWO EPU/CPU connectors for those power hungry chips/boards, 6 total PCIE connectors for as much GPU power as you want, several diff length sata cables, great 9/10 and 10/10 reviews by most every critic/user/tech site, and best in class 10 YEAR warranty!!! What more could you ask for in a PSU! It’s small, quiet(I’ve never heard it at all), looks good, efficient, fully modular, and has great reviews with a decade long warranty. All this with amazing pricing often less than PSUs with lower quality and much shorter warranty. You want a solid PSU behind a name you can trust that will last you a decade? Here ya go. Enjoy the pictures and thanks for reading.

Arrivato per tempo, in confezione sigillata, ben imballato. Aspetto del materiale ottimo. Molti cavi disponibili, vitine ecc: c'è tutto. Facile installarlo.

Introduction: The Main reason I chose this power supply Is the brand Seasonic Is a reliable power supply manufacturer that I have purchased from before. They are solely focused on providing quality power supply's. I have owned a few different power supplys from Seasonic and have not had a problem with any of them at all.Pros:Quite - The Focus+ Gold 850w Is very quite I have not measured however I would say the loudest I've heard it get up to is around 20 db (Decibels) which is quieter or on par with common case fans.Fully Modular - As expected with the title of the product the power supply is fully modular. A great feature to have since If there are any problems with your cables, say you accidentally cut one you can easily replace it or you can install your own cables for a nice look to your computer.Wattage - Being a 850 watt power supply means you have plenty of room for upgrades without having to worry about hitting your cap on your power supply. This power supply can easily provide power for a high-end system running 1 graphics card and will only start to hit it's limit when using SLI / multiple Graphics cards with high core count CPUs and a lot of storage drives.Size - For a ATX (standard form factor) power supply It Is on the smaller size. This means you will have more room for routing your cables and keeping them tidy. I would recommend this to people who have cases with small compartments for their ATX (standard form factor) power supplies as It would give them the greatest amount of room barring a SFX (small form factor) power supply.Cons:Cables - The cables that come with the power supply are adequate they are well made and sturdy. However for people wanting to have a good looking computer they do not look the best with very visible heat shrink tubing on certain cables as well as cable sleeving that could be extended to made the wiring look nicer.Untested:Power Efficiency - at the currant time of writing this review I have not fully tested the efficiency of the power supply however from general use it seems to be good. Conclusion: All In all it is a great power supply with high quality features that should be sought out if looking at power supplys . My only grievance would be the design of the cables that come with the power supply. Although this can easily be fixed by purchasing cable extensions or full length custom cables.

This is an excellent power supply for a system with one powerful graphics card or two mid-range cards. A lighter system would be better-served by a version of same with lower wattage.FEATURES:The cable layout is like so:1 x 24-pin motherboard (sheathed)1 x 4/8-pin CPU (sheathed)2 x 6/8-pin PCIe (sheathed)2 x 4 SATA (not sheathed)1 x 3 molex (not sheathed)1 x floppy (not sheathed)This is a fully modular power supply. Modularity means that some or all cables are attached separately so you can pick and choose what you need. This feature becomes more important as wattage goes up so you won't obstruct airflow with unused cables. The cable attachment mechanism is nice and chunky; better than flat inserts that put all four wires in line.PERFORMANCE:Fifteen years ago, most power supplies were about 70% efficient: for a 100W load, they'd pull about 140W from the wall. Not anymore. We now have six major PSU ratings: 80 Plus and 80 Plus Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium. These correspond to half-load efficiencies of 80%, 85%, 88%, 90%, 92%, and 94%. Efficiencies at 1/5 and 4/5 load are about 4% less than half-load. This unit is Gold-rated, and according to PCPer, meets the 90% efficiency requirement for that certification. There isn't a strong economic argument for efficiency. Relative to a Bronze PSU, the FOCUS saves about $5 a year for a 24/7/365 100W load in most parts of the country. More noticeable is the acoustic difference. Every watt that isn't going into the system needs to be vented from the PSU. Less efficient units require a bigger or faster fan, which makes more noise. The fan in this one doesn't even turn on until a 200W draw and doesn't begin to ramp up until 400W. For the overwhelming majority of systems the overwhelming majority of the time, it'll be completely inaudible.I haven't commented on ripple and other low-level power characteristics, partly because they're exemplary (par for the course for Seasonic), but also because they're irrelevant. Short of a no-brand $15 tin-box special, just about every PSU on a retail shelf is good enough for a modern system if the wattage is adequate. Computers require less power than they ever have (outside of gaming and overclocking) and motherboard power regulation is better than ever. This FOCUS has no bad behaviors under load, but you could put a $30 Corsair in your system with nary a difference.IN SUM:This is an excellent PSU for a system with a serious graphics card, and where noise performance and efficiency are at a premium. It's also rather well-priced like the G-series that preceded it. I've had at least four Seasonic power supplies. None have failed. None have had coil whine or strange fan behaviors that I've seen even on high-end models from other brands. While Seasonic is an OEM for other manufacturers, I believe their own products represent the best they can do. As above, I don't think this level of performance is strictly necessary, but if you're willing to pay for it, you could hardly pick a better PSU. Just run your system by PCPartpicker's excellent power calculator before settling on a wattage.
