Previous reviews alerted me about the sizing issue, which made me grateful we are here informing each other because I love these gloves. I’m a professional scuba diver who goes through two to three pairs of neoprene gloves each year. When I’m performing tasks that require more dexterity, I stick to 3mm gloves but these thicker 5mm gloves make a big difference in warmth—they do loosen up a bit underwater but you just can’t expect to move your fingers as much. I usually wear unisex size XS to S, or women’s M in dive gloves, and according to the Seaskin size chart I should be size S, but thanks to others’ warnings I ordered size M which fits perfectly. I think sometimes companies use the same patterns to make all their gloves and hoods without taking into account how the thickness of the material will affect fit, because we run into this issue from time to time. Once you get your size right, these are a fantastic value, comparable build but much lower price than most brand name dive gloves. Stitched seams, smooth inside, non-slip grips on the palm, ergonomically curved construction in the fingers, and snug wrists to keep water circulation to a minimum. Happy to keep my fingers from freezing this winter!

I purchased these gloves to replace my O'Neill brand gloves. The quality of the gloves are excellent BUT the size runs SMALL. The palm is almost 1 inch smaller and the fingers are 1/2 inch shorter. Returning this item and purchasing O'Neill brand for known fit.

I recently used these Seaskin wetsuit gloves, and they quickly became my favorite gloves for SCUBA. The 5mm premium neoprene material keeps my hands toasty warm, even in the coldest water. The palm grip and anti-slip design give me the confidence to handle my U/W cameras without worries. The water-resistant, glued, and blind-stitched construction ensures that these gloves are durable and reliable for many dives to come. What I appreciate the most about these gloves is the adjustable wrist straps. They provide a snug fit, so I never have to worry about them slipping off. Whether I'm snorkeling or diving, these gloves offer the perfect combination of warmth, comfort, and grip. If you are into water sports, you definitely need to give these a try! Thanks, AMAZON!Mark in North Carolina

I like them, they're very tight and well made. They should let in a very amount of water and would likely heat up fast being there's not much room in them for the water layer. They give me more dexterity than my diving claw mitts, however they can also make your fingers get cold quicker as you don't have multiple digits each keeping themselves warm and share a bit of water-space. They have a nice velcro and elastic band to tighten around the wrist, while also being able to close back on itself to prevent the velcro from damaging your neoprene or stitching on your gear.I have no complaints, I probably could have gone with a large and been okay, and the medium are a little tight, however you want them tight. It's not so tight that it's restrictive of the movement, or that it hurts, but I feel like a little more room would have been welcomed without wasting space. (I have somewhat large hands, skinny but long fingers.)

I thought these would be great for driving in the cold weather. Unfortunately, the gloves do restrict hand and finger mobility. They also run really small, not just around the wrist, but also in the finger areas. I was driving and my fingers began to ache. For me, a driving glove needs to be flexible and comfortable. You can't use screens of any kind with these and they are not flexible. They are incredibly durable, water proof and warm, but I can't get over the uncomfortableness. I ordered a size Medium and I have average sized hands for women. They were too tight around the fingers. Cold plunges... for sure. Driving around, I'd have to consider something more versatile.

These are diving gloves and I am not using them for diving, so take my review with a few grains of salt.First, the gloves are nice and thick, have great grip and I hoped to use these for winter bicycle riding. I have done this with great effect in the past using diving gloves. Since my hands are freakishly large as are my wrists, I ordered these in the largest size available, 3X. If they had a 5x, I would have ordered them.Proportionally, they fit tight in the wrist, ideally roomy in the hand and the thickness was on the thicker side, but it was not even remotely objectionable in the hand area - good finger length and a nice width across the knuckles. The fly in the ointment is that the cuff is very tight. It even had a nice double sided Velcro closure which I did not use since it would have made a tough situation worse. It was so tight it triggered my Carpel Tunnel hard enough that I lost feeling in my entire hand. Please note that I have very large wrists and this is not an unusual situation. That being said, my wife who has small thin (but long) hands liked the feeling of the gloves and it was easy to cinch down the wrist and give her a good feel through the hands. These are diving gloves and I am not reviewing them as diving gloves (they didn't even get wet) so if you are looking for tight diving gloves with great grip, these may be just what you want. If you have gigantic hands and wrists the size dancer's ankles, maybe look elsewhere.
