Replaced my Flo-Max with the seaslo 42. Plug and play. Same fittings, dimensions are almost to the centimeter.Much quieter, and more powerful. Shower is much better in the RV and the cycling is almost non esistant. highly recommend.

Nice and quiet with variable flow rate.I installed this with an accumulator on my last build, probably not necessary with this unit as it is able to vary flow rate rather than full on/off of other units.I will use this again on my next build without an accumulator and report findings then.

Drop in replacement for my RV travel trailer. Replaced it just over 5 years ago and it is running fine and quietly.

I put one in my old 5th wheel with 3/4 main lines and the pressure was better than being hooked up to city water. Put one in our new 5th wheel to replace the stock one and same story on stock 1/2 in pipes. Quiet, reliable, affordable. No regrets.

Installed this pump today and am very happy with the results. It is much quieter than the OEM pump that came with my RV, and water pressure is very good and consistent. The adjustable bypass makes for smooth operation without cycling even at low water volume. There are no clear instructions on this, but the videos are easy to find and follow.I do wish there were more options for fittings, for example one or two elbow fittings, but the ones that I received were good enough to allow for a professional-looking installation. This pump comes with a 4 year warranty and that should be long enough to work out any faults.Very happy for now but will update if any issues turn up.

Works amazingly and it is nearly silent best bang for buck pump and it's super easy to install as well as provides excellent water pressure (installed on a boat). Clear and easy instructions with great materials this is an amazing pump!

Cette pompe fonctionne très bien et est silencieuse. Mais est-ce que c'est possible de boire l'eau pour utilisation dans un camping car?

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but this could literally be life or death for someone and I feel a responsibility to inform anyone who may be relying on this for potable water, or any situation where the products failure could be catastrophic.Sure it is quiet, inexpensive, good psi, boasting low flow capabilities and an impressive warranty (granted I still needed to install an accumulator tank because mine still cycles, and people have reported they don’t honor their warranty) - but the pressure switch on this has caused catastrophic issues for many people (just search YouTube); as far as draining freshwater tanks out at sea due to melting the plastic water joints (not to mention potentially starting a fire).Well, its not a myth. I’ve pumped maybe 100 gallons simply to test the water system I installed in my sprinter. Worked great, so I thought maybe those people had it in too humid environments for too long and that caused the issue (still shouldn’t happen on a water pump, but ok you get what you pay for).Well, brand new pump… Dry location… Still returnable to Amazon… It seemed to work fine so I took a trip (I’m still on the trip trying to get a new pump sent to me on my way).First night (last night), it started shorting out when it reached pressure, just as it has been cautioned in the videos I have watched. It shorts enough to make an electrical short crackling sound and make the lights in the van flicker while the pump rapidly cycles on and off, but not enough to trip the fuse. Plus it still pumps water… for now…As such, I can certainly understand how if this was out of observable range (acoustically or visually), and not tampering with sensitive lighting dimmers (different circuit, non-isolated, same power source), one would not necessarily know that it’s shorting out until it’s too late and has melted itself, and potentially the connected plumbing (which is how this has unknowingly drained freshwater tanks at sea)…Thankfully I’m still under Amazon’s return window (yes it’s that new), and they will honor the return, otherwise I’d have to deal with the seaflo warranty that they don’t seem to honor (read reviews of them delaying by months, or going MIA, or even going as far as just telling people to just bypass the pressure switch and keep the faulty unit).I decided to buy a higher quality pump for peace of mind. And I’m not even out at sea. But the possibility of a fire? Or suddenly draining the freshwater tank into my van? Perhaps while 5 days out into the desert?Nope. It’s a known issue and simple fix seaflo. You could literally be the cause of someone’s demise for not just fixing this issue. It’s not just inconvenient; it’s potentially someone’s life if they are weeks from land or way off grid.Buyer beware.

I've edited my original review, which I will leave below for reference. On my second trip back to the boat after installing the pump the problem with problem with noise and pulsing (constantly cutting on/off) simple wasn't there. The pump worked great and was quiet.I suspect the problem was caused by a flow restrictor fitting on the kitchen faucet. When off the dock and depending on the 50 gallons of water in my tanks I have to be frugal with water. Therefore I use a low flow restrictor fitting on the faucet. When at the dock and connected to the marina's water I use a normal fitting on the faucet. At this time I have not tested this theory by switching back to the low water restrictor fitting.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOWPump appears to be good quality. Works well. All necessary parts were there for an easy install. But this is the noisiest pump I’ve ever had on a boat. It pulses with water pressure. I’ve never had one so this before.

It works well and moves the water quieter than our original 2004 factory one. But, things are seldom perfect, and this is no different. When running the water at just a trickle (boondocking) the pump does cycle on and off. The pressure is consistent though. A little annoying hearing that on/off on/off... Not a problem for us, just figured people should know. Not sure about longevity, we've only boondocked a week or so since installing.
