The solution to SD cards that need to be protected from hazards. I thought ESD (Electro Static Discharge) was among those, but unless these cases are conductive in some way it might not really be an issue. But what CAN ruin an SD card with all your important photos or information is the simple touch of a big greasy finger, that messes with the conductivity on the tiny electrodes, which is how the card communicates through the reader to your computer. You have to be really careful when handling them so you DON'T touch those electrodes! That said the little plastic cases (20 in this shipment) fit an SD card perfectly and the case snaps shut securely (but is easy to open!) That's all great, but I was hoping there was also a way to use the case for a Micro SD card. Maybe the solution is to use one case for the carrier/holder and another case for the micro card. (And maybe get good tweezers to grab it.)

Thank goodness, you had the size I needed, small & compact. Didn't have all the extra plastic around the outside. We use them every week (14 total) when we go pick up our hunting camera chips. Eventually they will wear out and we were so lucky to find these. Very reasonable price

Bought these to carry my SIM cards in for an overseas flight, had no issues at all. They stay secured and while the SIM cards bounce around a bit, everything was in perfect condition.

What can I say? I have been looking for these size SD card jewel cases for years.Well, I have found them. I opened up the bag that they came in and the cases seem sturdy. but, if I had to open and close the case frequently, I am not certain of the out come. The latch locks well on first glance and attempt.For me, they are just to store full SD cards. Or, to enclose new SD cards that do not come with jewel cases.Texture wise , they feel the same as the SANDISK jewel cases. The quality of the plastic seems good.Cost wise, seems to be a good value.

Not the thickest plastic but did the job I needed to protect my SD cards, in which I have many. All the ones I've used have snapped shut when I've closed them, all have worked.

These are just fine ... thin and lightweight but sufficiently durable to protect an SD card under normal conditions (not waterproof, not crush proof but you're not paying for that kind of performance). Small tabs make them easy to open/close; snap shut with a click and seem to stay shut until opened. For the quantity, quality and price, this is a good deal.
