Fits 25 year old Gunson Speedplate pen bought in England. Refills were reasonably priced and seem good quality.

On the surface they appear to be identical to the scratch brush refill that I had on hand. On closer inspection, the brass crimp is just ever so slightly smaller than what is needed for the scratch brush. I'm pretty sure that a small strip of tape will make the insert stay in the tool. These inserts are about 1/4-3/8" longer than the existing insert. It will 'just' fit into the tool without the end sticking out, but by maybe less than 1/16"

I use these for cleaning battery contacts or other small items needing a mild abrasive that are in a tight corner etc.You do wear them down pretty fast, but that’s why you get the big box!They also fit a different brand of holder so I am happy.Wear a face mask and goggles as fiberglass splinters are no joke.Wash your hands too!
