Works ok but if there are drips or coated to thick the product does not dry clear. Need to apply 3 coats or more to get a good seal.

I have always been a Mod Podge person until I used this product, has no smell, quality is perfection, you use very little product very easy to use, clarity is wonderful, absolutely no bubbles, is a little expensive but you don’t use as much of the product so it balances out.

Do shake the container, but let it sit a while (hour or two) before applying so most of the bubbles settle. I used it on costume jewelry. It dried perfectly clear and even enhanced the appearance of the gems. Not only were they shinier than before, any cloudiness vanished. It's very low odor, both in practice and afterwards. It will harden brush bristles, just use a brush you don't mind tossing afterward. This product is so much better than Mod Podge. It is also very thin, basically liquid, so the little jar goes a very long way! It's 8oz, almost the size of a soda can.

I want to like this product but I’m scared lol it gives an electrical like shock every time I open it. I would take caution when opening. But other than that it’s great.

This was a great find. A clear substance that I could brush onto my painted side table to make it waterproof. This product doesn’t have a bad odor. I did use it outside so it would dry a little faster. I did about three coats and it turned out really great. My brush was easy to clean with water. No brush strokes appeared on the surface, just like the manufacturer states. I am really happy that this table is now waterproof.

I haven't tried this product on anything that would be outside long term, or anything like cups vases etc. Ive been using it to seal paint on my mini figures, to seal my clay items, and as additional sealing around fine micro dioramas. All of these have worked great. That being said, when I first used it I didn't like it, I swirled it up a bit, applied it. Waited 24 hours, and it was still tacky, goopy, and not clear. However...when I went back a few weeks later to give it another try. After I shook the bottle very very well before applying, it did great, it self leveled, all the bubbles disappeared, it dried crystal clear, wasnt tacky or sticky and held everything in place and sealed the paint. I even submerged it in liquid for my fake display and it held up just fine so far. Its been in this liquid for 3 weeks now and its still looking good. So moral of my story, shake WELL, and it does what its supposed to. Just be sure to clean the rim after you shake it or you'll have a hell of a time getting the lid off again :P

I bought this specifically because it said it would not smudge on metal mugs. I tried to seal sharpie on a Stanley mug and it smudged the ink. So disappointing!

So for starters, I have to make a PSA:IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT, YOU MAY SUFFER A SHOCK THAT WILL ENTER YOUR BODY THROUGH YOUR ARMS AND WILL "POP" INSIDE YOUR CHEST/BODY!!This is not a joke and it did not only happen to me but many other people who unexpectedly opened it without knowing what could happen. When the owner was asked about it, he replied he too had been shocked by the product but found it comical and not a big deal.PLEASE if you or someone you know uses electronic equipment for health, do not open this product without rubber gloves at the least.Smell: It stinks, just as horrible as any other glue on the market, if not much worse, not going to lie. Smells like pure chemicals and toxic fumes, not pleasant or neutral in any way.Streaks: Really bad quality, streaks on wood, clumps up, does not "self level" in any capacity. I thought maybe it was a bad bottle but after trying from a second bottle the results were just as bad. Wood, plastic, ceramic, glass, streaks or clumping were left on all mediums.Sun Exposure: The Sun basically ruins anything that has this product on it. If you live in a sunny place, or anywhere the sun shines at all, don't put your crafts outside without serious testing and something to properly seal and protect.Glue: I tried this on all mediums I could think of that I would usually use Mod Podge and ironic, I know, but it literally failed on every project. It just doesn't hold at all regardless of how long it is left to cure.Wait Time: Had to wait over two weeks just for it to ship, an exceptionally long time. The most disappointing thing overall was how many tries I gave it despite the really scary shock. I felt it travel up my arms into my chest and pop, it hurt and scared me deeply. I hope they fix whatever is causing the issue before someone gets hurt. (the foil embossing?)The best thing about this purchase was that Amazon accepted the return!

Does what it's supposed to use and has lots of uses. A little goes a long way I don't see why I should thin this stuff out any more than it is. So why do I take a star off? Well, I did a test for coating over some glass and a sticker, left it to cure for a couple of days, and the result was nice BUT it wasn't scratch/friction-resistant. Scratch marks are easy to make and rubbing any textured cloth over it caused a frosted glass effect. So unless I got a slightly dud batch, it's not great for surfaces that have a lot of contact or friction. So I find it best for decorative and gentle use projects. Also a tip for bubbling. It will bubble some when applied over a textured surface, so you'll want to use steady and slow brush strokes, and maybe crossover application. Also note that the bubble can form in the brush, itself, so when dipping into it make sure to give the brush a bit of smooshing to release any potential bubble in the brush.
