oh its all good so far. up until the time came when its all put together and ready to air up the tires and go for a ride. you may find that the ordinary air valve for the tires is now a presta valve. the ones we been using for a hundred years now some genius comes up with presto the presta valve. so now you gotta buy a twenty dollar air pump or go to wally world and get an $2 adaptor to air up. had one scratch on the frame but hey i like the bike good flat black color with eye pop blue accent. shifts brakes and runs good out of the box for the most part. looks like some of the cables are hidden in the frame which is nice. grips and straight wide bars good. saddle is real nice but you know what bike seats do right.? shipping time was about right came one day earlier than forecast. minus one star for the nagging little stuff but i would order again if it came to that.

Isn’t always a bad thing, but literally for $900 you could feed your entire family for 10 days or buy a horribly manufactured product that will make you want to throw it off a bridge, I may be biased in this review but the bike almost killed me due to a metal part of the piece holding the chain snapped and I damn near lost the opportunity to write this damn review to warn you people about what your signing up for buying this lump of crap

For the first mountain bike I’ve bought in a very long time and also during the bike boom during covid. I have zero complaints. Sure would I like a 1x12 drive yes but I think with what it comes with it’s pretty solid. I’ve definitely added some accessories but when gas spikes and there’s another bike boom. I’m glad I went a bought all the extra parts i could.Saw someone complain about the pedals. You ain’t doing any real mtb riding on stock nylons. If your doing anything more than quiet commuting. Upgrade the pedals but that should be a given since stock pedals are always generic shit

Today I got this and assembled. Then ride it. But, when I changed gear 2 to 1, just went broken. It' so weak to ride. I will return it back.

TLDR: Top notch mountain bike - awesome deal for the mid-tier price point.Packaging 5/5: The bike was very carefully wrapped and padded for shipping. Absolutely no dings, scratches, wear or other marks. Everything fits tight in the box and all parts that needed to be assembled were individually wrapped and then zip tied together.Assembly 5/5: When it arrived and I realized some assembly was required, I was at first concerned because I haven’t worked on a bike in years. But I needed have worried - the bike comes partially assembled with all the hard/intricate build already done. Essentially, you just need to attach the handle bar, front tire (the quick release is a snap), seat, and pedals. Everything else is a quick adjustment to fit to your size. I’m not a small guy (6’4”) so we had to dial in several pieces to get the right fit, but we were able to assemble the parts and adjust all the grips/height elements in less than 90min to take it on a trial run on Black Mountain trail. The closest thing I have to a complaint is that the manual was taped to some foam padding so the cover ripped off and some of the instructions were kind of generic and not super clear. That said, we had no problem quickly getting everything put together that needed to be.Sturdiness 5/5: I’ve had a low end mountain bike, mid grade hybrid, and high end road bike over the years. This bike fits right between mid grade and high end. It is very solid and sturdy, all joints and parts secure and stood up to a fairly aggressive initial trail run. I haven’t taken it on too technical of a run yet, but more than enough to do an initial stress test.Suspension 5/5: Super smooth ride for what I expected. No issues up/down trail, rides nice on rough trail or roads/pavement without additional noise. Easy transition on speeds/gears (24 speed).Looks (5/5): I’m biased on this one as my fav colors are blue and black, but the bike is sleek and the decals/styling looks great. Everything fits the look and feel I wanted in the bike.Overall 5/5: I’m super pleased with this bike. We live near a lot of hiking trails and small mountain runs, all of which either allow or have separate dirt trail runs for bikes. With the pandemic and our fitness access reduced, I’ve been looking for something I can do now that some public areas are opened back up. Mountain biking fit the bill but I didn’t want to spend $1500+ on another high end bike since I’m just getting started. This is a great bike, feels high end and lives up to expectations but won’t break the bank. Exactly what I was looking for!
