So much to say so here is the cliff notes version:1. Well packaged2. Easy to follow instructions, step by step illustrations3. Definitely a 2-person task4. Set-up in less than an hour5. Recommend purchasing the A/C adaptor for power instead of battery.6. Smooth ride with no sound...some air so recommend clean surface.7. Solid ride with no wiggle or jiggle after adjusting base leveling knobs.8. No LED backlight on monitor so lighted room recommended, not a deal breaker.9. Resistance builds up so don't worry about not getting a good workout.10. No regrets, Highly recommend!!

The bike was well packaged and the box was in perfect condition upon arrival. Assembly was very straightforward. I did have an issue with one of the cables that connect the display panel falling inside the frame. This was a real pain in the butt and almost ended with the bike being returned but I was able to fish it out of the frame and complete the assembly. Once assembled I was very impressed with the build quality. Very solid, doesn't move around at all, even with me going as hard as I can. I'm a big guy and I can honestly say this thing is a solid as my commercial Lifefitness bike and my Stairmaster freeclimber. Kudos to Schwinn for creating a serious bike that will hold up under intense use. That being said, it is extremely smooth in use. The belt drive is very direct with no driveline lash or noise. The handlebar arms are made of heavy gauge steel and are very solid with no free play or slop at all. The display is very intuitive and easy to use, with all information available at a glance. I really like the speedometer setup as it's easy to read and leaves a hash mark at the highest recorded speed which is very helpful. I only wish the display was backlit. It would make those early morning sessions a little more convenient if I didn't have to turn on all the lights on order to read the display. This seems to be a common thread with all of these type of books. One other thing to note, the heart rate monitor will not work with a coded chest strap. I have a Polar H10 which will not connect to the bike telemetry. I ended up purchasing a Polar T34 which is non coded and works perfectly. Also of note, the seat isn't great but it's not terrible. I may replace it in the future. The rubber coating on the handlebar arms is heavy duty and feels nice in hand. There's plenty of seat adjustment range both vertical and fore and aft. Honestly, just very satisfied with this bike and I find it to be a worthwhile purchase that I will get a lot of use out of. Speaking of use, this thing absolutely provides a killer cardio workout. I've been using the 20/10 interval training routine that is one of the presets and it absolutely kicks butt. I'm able to burn as many calories on this in 15 minutes as I can on my lifecycle in a half hour. It gets my heart rate up in a hurry and keeps it there.Bottom line, if your looking for a quality airdyne style bike for HIIT training, look no further. This thing is the real deal.Update: After a couple months with this machine I really love it. It's gotten me in better shape than I've been in for a very long time. It's very well built, quiet, smooth due to the belt drive system and enjoyable to use. The only negatives iare the stock seat isn't comfortable at all which I promptly replaced with a Velmia memory foam touring seat which I purchased on Amazon (awesome seat byw, made a huge difference) and the heart rate monitor is very inconsistent. It works when it feels like it. It cuts out during workouts or sometimes won't work at all. It also reads about 10 bpm high at all times. I called Schwinn and they promptly sent out a replacement console but to no avail. same issue. tried multiple heart rate straps, all uncoded with the same result. Just to be certain, I tried them on other machines and they all worked perfectly. I just use the polar app on my phone. kind of a pain but it works. not a deal breaker. bottom line, Great machine with a coupe flaws. I'd buy it again in a second.

Airdynes/fanbikes are the best! You can't beat it for a short or medium duration cardio session, and the fact that you can mix in hard work with light work seamlessly without fiddling with settings makes it the best piece of home cardio equipment in my estimation. You could even use it without even turning the control pad on -- it's all mechanical and low tech.I, like many people, compared this with the Rogue Echo before buying. I got this one mainly because it was in stock at the time, but I'm glad I did (even accounting for the price difference), for several reasons. For reference, I have this at home and my main use is ~15 minute moderate intensity rides on off days from the gym with a few sprints mixed in. I use a Rogue Echo bike 4x a week at the gym, mainly for warming up.Anyway, the Airdyne Pro and the Rogue Echo are pretty similar and both great, but here's why I like the Airdyne more:-The fan. The fan has more blades which provide more resistance...the end result is that the bike has a very natural, smooth feel when riding, which feels more like actually riding a bicycle to me. The rogue bike by comparison feels more like you're riding a bike down a slight hill, to use an analogy.-The handles. I thought as a 6'2" person I'd only use the top handle position, but I use both top, bottom, and side (neutral grip). I find switching grips every so often keeps me feeling fresher and helps engage different muscles. For instance, I find a neutral grip, while being the least comfortable, gives the best scapular contraction.-The build quality. I remember seeing reviews saying the Rogue had better quality because it seemed to be "overbuilt" like a "squat rack" -- to be honest I think this is just the design aesthetic. The airdyne seems sturdier to me with the possible exception of the seat post, which has maybe a little more play than the rogue. But the key part is the splined shaft where the handles connect to the body -- the schwinn has zero play and the handles feel solid, while the rogue has a little play (but still feels fine to use). This may be in part due to the higher mileage on the rogue, which is at a gym.I find the displays to both be "fine" for my purposes -- all I need are a timer, some measure of speed/rpm/cal per minute (they're all the same, just different scales), and some measure of work (e.g. calories burned). I don't use the built-in interval timers on them -- the only use I'd see for that is if you were already warmed up and ready to just jump on and do some tabatas or something. If I did structured intervals, I'd use an app or a gymboss timer.I will say, I do kind of like the "gauge" style display at the top of the airdyne display...it leaves a hashmark at your highest speed of the session, and it's fun to see how high you can get it while sprinting.Anyway, I can't say if these factors justify the extra cost of this unit for every buyer, but I'm glad I got the Airdyne Pro, even if I would have been just as happy with the Rogue.

El único detalle del producto es que los pedales son muy reducidos y para gente con pie grande es complicado. Pero en general es muy bueno y con pocos minutos tienes para un buen ejercicio.

I have used many times an Assault Bike back in the days and I feel the AD7 is a better bike overall.Quick comparison between both:- AD7 feels "tighter" then the Assault Bike (AB). What I mean is that the only sound you hear is from the blades. Everything holds tight and nothing is flimsy while the AB it does feel like everything is solid also but kinda loose at the same time.- I think we are better seated on the AD7, by far.- Really less noise from the AD7. The chain on the AB generates lots of noise.- Quicker response from AD7, as soon as you pedal everything follows while the AB has some kind of lag.Overall I am very satisfied with the AD7 so far. It feels sturdy and durable. The only thing that disappoint is the monitor that isn't bright at all. It's hard to see some of the characters. As for the performance, I think it's harder on the AD7 than on the AB. I mean, I really felt like dying on the AD7, maybe I'm just out of shape too.

I have received this bike in A+ shipping condition. I assembled it with my daughter. The instructions were easy to follow. All the screws, tools exactly as needed, nothing missing and even the instructions books, both in french and english. I used it and it runs perfectly well. the arms do exercise at the same time as the legs. I am extremely happy since it is my first shot at bying such big equipement on internet. The Shwinn A2 bike is great and fits well in my home.
