Look at what the NFL Ranks it at compared to other helmets and how it rates with overall concussions and Head injuries it is in the top 5 if not the top 3 and I used this exact Brand and model of helmet for 2 seasons of semi pro football and it Held up and kept me safe 100% I wish they would of had these Helmets around when I was playing as a kid growing up it probably would of prevented a lot of Concussions in the end but thank God my pop warner league had invested into schutt Air helmets which were top of the line when I was a kid and everyone in the NFL wore them for a helmet and even some players still wear them to this day and the NFL has even tried to outlaw them because of it being such a old model but they are really strong helmets and still rate in the top 5 for impact and concussion preventability etc anyways if you're going to get your kid a helmet to play youth football or high school football or anything like that this is the helmet to get him believe it or not it's better than them riddell speedflexes that you see everyone else wearing when it comes to safety and concussion prevention this is somebody who played linebacker and running back all throughout his years of playing football and I put a lot of hits on and I took a lot of hits and this helmet was great because it gave me comfortability and ease when it came to taking a hit and not worrying about having that bell ringing going on afterwards lol but seriously and I am nobody that is getting compensated for saying this or anything like that I could care less about that I am just somebody who is an advocate for the sport and somebody who is going to write a review to help parents out there get a helmet for their kid that's safe and best of them and that's this helmet 100%

They sent matte black, instead of regular black. Size also runs small with not much give in the padding. Chinstrap was also white and not black as it states in the description. Now, I have to deal with the re-order and return deal. Giving it another shot. Wish me luck

I did a lot of research on football helmets and there sellers. I bought this Schutt f7 from Sports Unlimited because of there rating on Amazon. In the end I had to return helmet because it was too small. I used the Schutt sizing chart, but I am assuming this item runs small because the helmet wasn't even close to fitting. Sports Unlimited was awesome to deal with returning the helmet. If you need a helmet and don't have one you can try on, like me, I would definitely buy from these guys.
