Way stronger then the stock tin plate. But no gasket fits the grove on the bottom. Tried one piece gasket, four part gasket, they are all to wide to fit. Ended up modifying gasket to make it work. It has indents for water pump bolts but does not allow for clearance. Had to use water pump spacers.Doesn't have clearance for any timing indicators, tried three different ones, ended up modifying again to make work.Doesn't have clearance for double roller chain (which they state)I like how strong it is vs the stock plate. Wish they had payed more attention to detail of what it actually needs to install/use this cover.

This cover looks great but the front section of the oil pan gasket WILL NOT FIT THE GROOVE. The groove is too narrow!!!!!!!

The product looked pretty good until I went to install it. The oil pan gasket would not fit in the bottom slot of the cover. Ended up trying 3 different gaskets. None would fit. Picked up a different timing chain cover. The new one fit like a glove. As you can see from the picture. The casting is closer where the gasket fits into.

Nice product feel, look but fitment was an issue with the seal at the bottom. The channel is not wide enough without modifying a stock seal. Put on a 1972 sbc 350.

Installed it on my 68 Camaro 350 with short water pump and it hits the cover pretty good but still seems to seal idk I haven’t ran it yet.
