Really comfortable to rest on but the smell of isopropyl alcohol was nauseating with how overpowering it was. I'm hoping it will go away in time because its difficult to sleep with it. Otherwise, perfect to roll this out whenever you need something like a futon to keep around when convenient. Very plush and does a good job of relieving pressure everywhere on the body.

The 2.4-inch thickness is perfect for adding a plush layer of cushioning while still being compact enough to roll up and store in the included storage bag. First off, I didn't buy this for an RV. I bought it to have a nicer thing to sleep on when I go camping. It's still in the same ballpark, right? No matter. I was looking for some kind of camping pad when I saw this listing and I decided to give it a try.This is a really nice RV/camping pad! It's shipped compressed so you have to leave it out a bit for it to inflate. It does keep expanding for 24 hours, though it does the most expansion during the first 30 minutes. Just saying, give it a day before really judging it.It's like any other memory foam mattress: it's soft, supportive, and comfortable. This is a great alternative to the normal inflatable camping mattresses, which are too much for me. Just a pad like this under a sleeping bag, or even just a sheet, is more than enough for me.Overall I'm happy with this RV mattress pad and plan to get plenty of use out of it over the coming, warmer months.

I also noticed the smell another reviewer did when I first unrolled this, but I've experienced that with other toppers before, and it has always gone away after a bit of time. That said, give this topper time to air out fully before your first adventure.With that caveat, this is a nice topper. It fits well, rolls up well, and is thick enough for comfort but not too thick for it to be too heavy or unwieldy to store. It's also nice that this comes in two relatively similar but usefully different widths. The 51"+ was right for me, while I think there is also a 48" one for narrower spaces.I'll update the review if I encounter a durability issue. However, the construction quality seems good. It looks good, it feels good, it isn't too heavy, and the straps are handy.Net, five stars all around. A very good value in my opinion.
