This net is tough, sturdy, and just what I needed for the décor I had in mind.

Soft to the touch safety net. Good option for a small deck or balcony to have an added level of safety for small pets and children.

I originally got this with various ideas in mind -- maybe hanging it on my wall and clipping things onto it, or letting my snakes climb around in/on it (though I think they're a bit too big for it, as the squares are a bit smaller than I'd anticipated), or maybe hanging it from the ceiling and storing extra pillows or stuffed animals in there.I'm sure it'll be great for any of those purposes, but I don't think I'd recommend using it as an actual safety netting for balconies or stairs. It would work fine for keeping things from being thrown over the railings, in those instances, but I'm not sure that I'd trust it to stop a body going overboard. That said, I'm sure there are myriad things that can be done with this netting. For some reason I had thought that the corners branched off into two separate strings, so that they could be tied together, but it's really just basically a loop. You could cut the loop, if you wanted to, but if you do, you should (safely) burn and melt the ends to keep it from fraying.I'm almost kicking myself for getting such a large size, but with its versatility, I'm sure I'll make use of it in plenty of different ways for quite a while.

Keeping the balls from flying out into the street is critical. This gets the job done & sort of blends in with the landscaping.

I got this net for an indoor tree house we are going to build, but in the meantime, it has become a beloved toy. The kids have been playing nautical games with it and pretending to be fish and catch each other. So fun.The threads are soft and strong. My husband was impressed when he looked at it. He was expecting the joints to cross around each other or perhaps be knotted, but the threads actually intertwine at the joints, which makes the net stronger. I also like that the corners have some extra rope you can work with if you need it for installation purposes.Overall I am very pleased with this safety net. It will look fantastic in our tree house when we're done!

This is priced appropriately. It works great for keeping a child from falling through rails that aren't up to code or other areas. It also works great doe other things too, like storing a bunch of plastic ball pit balls in, etc.

We used this short netting on our stair railing going up to our second level. We recently adopted two new puppies and we don’t quite trust them to have the run of the house yet. One of the puppies is very smart and quite the escape artist. While we have a baby-gate at the bottom of our stairs, we saw her looking at the stair railings as a possible way around it. We used this net to rope off the railings. So far, she has not succeeded in getting to the next level. The netting is very soft and stretchy. It is nicely constructed too. If you need a stiffer netting then this netting is not for you. This netting is better suited for softly containing something or maybe as some sort of safety net. It comes in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. There are ties at the end for attaching to supports.

It's a net and the material it is made from appears stronger than it feels. Brown color makes it seems more worn even when new.
