I thought I wouldn't like them at first.When I was reading the product details, and looking at the advertising picture. I told myself that I wouldn't like the foam. I've seen, and used REAL bamboo numbknucks before.But overall, very impressed! The foam really helps me from banging my elbows up.Great price, and a good shipping price.

These nunchucks are great, but lost a star because they are not as safe as I thought they would be. The tips are still extremely hard, and it uses actual metal, so we won’t be able to use these as I hoped. But hopefully my son will still want to practice and become Bruce Lee.

I bought these as trainers for my 7 and 10 year old sons. Tthey love them and I think they are fun also. For the price you cant go wrong. If I could change anything about them I would shorten the chain length by one or even two links. This would make them faster, easier to hand spin, and would also make it easier for kids to handle them. Two links can be zip tied together which is what I will do. Great product overall.

These nunchaku are adequate for the price. My major issue is with the poor quality of the swivel and chain. They are very light weight. I add wooden dowels to the inside of the tubes and secure it so it doesn't move. This added weight improves the practice experience and they don't hurt anymore than they would without the wood dowel. I prefer the thinner foam wall that these nunchaku have vs a thicker wall so that grip is more natural.
