Installation and Adjustment

  • 1.Compress the arch ,and attach the brakes while the shoes are firmly push against the rim

1.Check the centerning

adjustment bolt in the

standard position (A)

2.Protrude the length(Z)

to 2.8mm as standard

1.Keep “Front ” direction same

as Rim direction (X)

2. Adjust contact angle (Y) in 0.5mm

3.Keep tire clearance with rim(Z) to

1mm or more

These seem to be a copy of Shimano 105 R7000, and for the price I was a little apprehensive however they work great, might need a bit of grease as they don’t come greased at the joints and yet to see how they last over time but have been very impressed.

The calipers themselves are fairly well put together but they are made of some sort of soft metal. After adjusting the calipers and providing a firm squeeze of the brake lever, the calipers have visible flex in the cable side of the caliper arms and the brake pads are visibly several milimeters further from the rim braking surface than prior to application.Braking power is poor to put it mildly. If the calipers are adjusted to minimum clearance of the rim and the brake is firmly applied to the bar, the calipers will allow this and the wheel can still be turned by hand.

These are advertised as road bike pads but they are made for those huge cruiser-bike brakes. Did not fit on dual pivot road calipers.

Première frustration: Pas de rondelle qui s'adapte à la courbe de la tête de la fourche. Deuxième: convient de justesse aux cadres de course. Ajustés au minimum les patins arrivent à toucher le bas des jantes. Je m'attendais à de meilleurs patins ajustables. Pas de vis de réglage fin.Positif: Fonctionnement très doux digne de freins beaucoup plus dispendieux...Pourvu qu'ils durent1

Such a great feel and upgrade vs originals, especially for the cost. My old brakes (single pivot) were harder to engage and had less stopping power. This are very easy to pull and you can easily use the full range of motion allowing much better power.
