This is the first time that I installed and used this mop head. I have had three other and they have all done the same thing. The bad part is that they are not returnable. I am throwing the entire mop in the trash. Will find a new replacement and it won’t be Rubber made. I wound’t recommend purchasing this mop. It to expensive to keep replacing the mop head and having them fall apart the first time you use them

You don’t have to replace these often like other mops I’ve tried! Will definitely be sticking with this one for a while.

The ends of the sponge need to be crimped with a small C clamp or sponge will come out and be useless.

This is a replacement for my commercial grade RubberMaid sponge mop. The mop is still quite new, but the sponge had pulled away from the metal C-channel that attaches it to the handle. Was glad to see that replacements were available. I took the precaution of using a pair of channel-lock pliers to tighten the channel on this new one before installing. The sponge itself is great, and the self wringing (lever action) handle is sturdy. I'm only giving this a "3" for now since I want to see if the replacement actually holds together. Promptly shipped and delivered in excellent condition. And it fit right into the handle, so I've got my fingers crossed. Will upgrade score when I see that it holds together.
