Well, after I had to pay extra for duty and the surprise, that the charges were US $, which I did not clearly see on the product page, I tried them out and would have liked a little bit heavier rope on them.

Not quite 9 foot. Maybe 9 foot before you take into account extra rope for slobber straps. Won’t work for long neck horse that you want extra trail rein for. Slobber straps have no weight to them

These reins are perfect mecate reins for less the price than you see all over the place! Does the job and looks really nice!

I love the diameter of the rein. I have arthritis in my hands, the size of these and the softness are very nice. I have used leather reins in the past for my TWH, these are lighter for us and easier for me to handle.

Really poor quality reins -- stiff, cheap materials, not manageable at all. Even after using them for months, they twist constantly and remain stiff. Don't waste your money on these -- go for good yacht rope instead.

the rope is to stiff and the leather quality was poor, i guess for the price they work. but will be looking for better quality.

Super soft but firm reins! Perfect for daily riding and training. I enjoy mine for trail riding as well. I have 2 other pair in the brown color and they are a bit stiffer but work perfectly!
