Your cart is empty.The all-new 2015-2017 Mustang 5.0 Liter ROUSH V8 Cold Air Kit is more efficient air-intake than the standard stock air box. Cold air induction allows for latent potential in power and fuel efficiency that would otherwise be restricted, as well as providing reduced pressure drop. A custom tune is not required as this CAI system was engineered and tested specifically for this application ensuring MAF signal performance matches factory settings. As a straight bolt on, with no tune, it is possible to see gains of 10 horsepower and 8 foot-pounds of torque, a noticeable increase. With this kit you can also remove the MAF insert for a 105mm bore MAF and Custom tune your PCM for even more power. Our dry filter is proven to retain its shape under high airflow and is composed of an inner and outer layer of wire mesh for durability and reliable support of filtration media. The filter requires no oiling and is easily washable for re-use. Included in the kit is the air filter with clamp, injection-molded lower air box/tray with installed EPDM foam hood seal, Blow Molded clean air tubes and all required mounting hardware. The kit utilizes all factory emissions and vacuum lines. Factory mounting locations and hardware are utilized to allow for quick and easy installation.

The CAI is great. It looks, sounds, and performs amazing. The “Roush” that you see on the black plastic housing is missing. I reached out to Roush to see about getting the decal to put on the housing so that when I opened my hood to show people, they didn’t have to ask “what kind of intake is that?”. In the emails I sent to them, I was questioned about too many things and just said forget it about getting a decal. I would have thought that they would want to show off their parts with the brand name on it, but having to track down all the necessary documents (I was told the receipt wasn’t enough) wasn’t worth a decal. Had it been a little easier to deal with their customer service department, I would give their products a 5 star review, hands down.

My biggest concern prior to getting hands on with the CAI and with my car was all the churn about the sound tube. Forget the 10MM deep socket with a zillion swivels and extensions. I just followed the tube back with my hand to the firewall, twisted and wiggled, wiggled and it pretty much fell off in my hands. Whatever the sound contribution to the cockpit was with this thing, I never got it before and after.SO EASY!The install took less than an hour (me being very meticulous) and next thing you know, I'm listening to the sound my 5.0 breathing easier. the throttle seems a little peppier and I am sure I'm getting more HP out of the mod.

It fits in my S550 very well. Along with the axle back exhaust from Roush, the two of these are perfect together.

I replaced the K&N alternative two weeks after install and was totally worth it! The Roush costs about $10 more and takes an additional 10-20 minutes to install, but again TOTALLY WORTH IT! The air box is much more solid than the K&N, not to mention it's more than twice the size, along with the air filter! Also, by completely removing the resonator all the way to the firewall (as opposed to capping off the tube) you get a much cleaner more professional look! As for performance, that's the reason I even wanted to see what the Roush had to offer. I was very disappointed in the K&N off the line performance, way too much hesitation. With the Roush, the tires light up every time I want them to! Trust me, I spent the extra $360 to try both the K&N and the Roush and I can promise you, you will not be disappointed if you know what you're doing!

Excellent quality from Roush. Included a cap for the line that was removed on the 2017, and a foam insert for the Hood vent. The product itself is a great design that will work on a stock Mustang GT, but can increase the MAF bore if you decide to tune the car later. Fit and finish are typical Roush quality. I am very happy with this purchase.

Fits perfectly! Removing the noise tube into the cabin was the toughest thing involved with the installation. To remove the 1 nut on the firewall behind the engine holding the noise tube in place took close to 2 hours of: sweat, pain and a little blood. But was way worth it, for the fit and finish of a pro shop. If you happen to have a small child at home or .... near by... use the child to get to the bolt as the child's arms my actually fit, TOP HINT: remember to use a fender cover so your belt, or small child does not scratch the paint! I found the best way to gain access to the bolt was to squeeze my arm in right near where the oil dip stick is located, using a very small wrench as a socket wrench will not work as the welded bolt is far to long for any socket to fit over.
