Works wonderfully! The instructions aren't the greatest but super easy to figure out. My tailgate is a little on the heavy side and with this hydronic lift I don't have to even hold on to it! Just simply release your latch and let it do the rest! I did order one other type before this one that stated it should work for my truck but it didn't. The main difference was the piece that attaches to the tailgate. That first one I ordered assumed I had a hole in the tailgate that would allow for screw to be placed there however that was not the case. This model come with a special attachment for the gate that works like a wall anchor. This product is totally worth it!

Simple to install works well added on both side. Slow open with two. Which I wanted. Only need one for faster opening.
