I've had these roof rack cross bars on my 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness for over a month and have used them to carry various types of lumber, from 2x4s to 8-foot plywood sheets. While I haven’t weighed the loads, the bars have shown no signs of buckling under the weight.Installation was straightforward, and the instructions were fairly clear. Like other reviewers mentioned, the screws that attach the crossbars to the end clamps can be tricky to tighten at the final step, but this only applies to the initial installation. As with any crossbar/roof rail accessory, it’s important to periodically check and retighten the screws, as they can loosen over time. One minor issue (but definitely not a dealbreaker) is that for the rear crossbars, even at the narrowest mounting point, the end clamps appear slightly wide—but they fit securely and stay put.Fuel economy hasn't changed noticeably, so I’ve kept them on full-time. Longevity-wise, the locks are exposed to weather, but since they’re vertically positioned, water doesn’t pool in the keyhole. Still, it's a good idea to lubricate them periodically to prevent rusting. For the price, these crossbars are a fantastic value, looking great on the car while being much more affordable than other options.

These are ok, the towers are big and clunky and make the crossbars ride high, the bars are aero style but with such large towers they don't look very sleek or low profile on my outback wilderness. But the OEM bars are over $500 and these are a bargain for their price and quoted weight capacity. However none of the in use pictures they show in their amazon page are showing the real crossbars installed on a car, so I am not sure I trust the weight rating and their is no indication of the static vs. dynamic weight load capacity. For a cargo box I am sure they will be fine, but I'm not going to try anything too heavy. They were quick and easy to install and come with all the tools and keys. People seem to steal anything nowadays so lockable is nice. If I could verify the weight rating that would be ideal.

These fit my 2025 Crosstrek well, and are straightforward, if a little tedious, to put on and take off. They add no appreciable noise even at freeway speeds. I haven't tested them with the kayak yet, but they seem very sturdy and secure, and they lock onto the car. It's not a bulletproof lock, not as good as, say, Thule, but it would slow down a thief. They are sleek and good-looking. With a 300lb rating, they should suit my needs well. They look just like the manufacturer's racks, but at around half the price or less.

Used on a 2019 Forester Sport, took about 15 minutes total to install, will take less time now that they're adjusted if they have to be removed. At less than half the cost of the factory rails, these are a good deal if you're not looking for the highest capacity/planning on a roof tent. These are great for lighter loads like a roof basket or bike/ski/surfboard mounts. The instructions are easy to read and to the point. Both rails can be adjusted for width although tightening a couple of the bolts after is mostly by feel. The mounting is secure with rubber isolation. Have not done a road trip yet so can't judge on any wind noise but with the aero style design they should hopefully be quiet. They have a removable channel insert for if you have items that use a T-bolt like a roof cargo carrier. Very good deal.

Roof rack for Subaru AscentThese seem to be good quality. They are light and have the shape of an airplane wing. There is a rubber piece on the roof clamp to avoid damaging your rail and keep vibration down.It takes some effort to get them installed the1st time. The crossbars need to be in before you put the side clamps on. Don't fully tighten the screws underneath the bar sleeve until you have everything spaced how you want.Instructions say don't go over 75MPH and to check the tightness often as things can loosen up with vibration and changes in temperature. The keyed lock is nice, but who goes around stealing roof racks? Is that a thing?Overall, they look good, feel sturdy, and much less expensive than the OEM accessory store.
