If you're displeased with the loudness, it's likely because you haven't pressed the EQ button on the remote. I find that EQ1 or EQ3 are best for bass. EQ4 is best overall. NOTE: do NOT use EQ 1 or 3 with the volume on max, you'll crack a speaker.
