Bought this about 3 years ago, needed something tough for alaska as I live here and fish the keani a lot. It held up well for the first year, but a lot of the pockets ripped pretty fast and had a fly box fall out of one and lost it.The sleeves were a bit short for a large, but otherwise it felt good, kept me dry and loved how many pockets it has, was really almost the perfect jacket really loved it, would buy again if a pocket didn't rip and lose a box.

Great jacket for the price. Heed prior reviews, this coat does run small. I always order 2x for outerwear due to all the layers of clothes underneath. After reading prior reviews, I ordered a 3x and it fits perfectlly. Plenty of pocket space, I almost can't wait for the rainy weather to come!

Just returned from Soldotna, Alaska where I spent three weeks (07/14/2021 - 08/04/2021) fishing on the Kenai river for sockeye salmon. It rained for pretty hard for about a week and was able to put the jacket to the test. Temperatures ranged from low 50s (Fahrenheit) to mid 60s during rain. I fish with fly rod and waders and was looking forward to see how the jacket would hold up to the ice cold Kenai river while it was raining.The first day the jacket held up very well to the rain, I stayed dry the whole day. Dropped something in the river and had to stick my entire arm in to quickly grab it before it got taken by the strong current. Some water got up my sleeve but not much as I already had the Velcro around the wrist pretty tight. Also, even though water got in, I wasn’t uncomfortable as the jacket kept me warm (also had a long sleeve compression shirt on).Some Pros: Keeps you warm in cold rain and dry (for as long as the waterproof coating holds up).-works well on the river with waders while fishing-hood is nicely designed but I highly recommend a baseball cap underneath for support).-Velcro straps at wrists to adjust tightness is a major plus. Minimizes water getting in sleeve when fishing or doing other tasks.-nice sized chest pockets as well as waterproof zippers.-not bulky so easy to maneuver but still keeps you warm in very cold rain.Cons:-by second day the coat was soaking up rain which made it heavy. It was no longer repelling rain.-no side pockets to stick hands in. Big deal when you’re in ice cold rain and need to dry hands or keep them warm.Overall recommendation: It’s almost a really good fishing raincoat. If they could use material that could consistently hold up to rain that alone would make it amazing and I’d say you’re crazy if you don’t get it. As is, I’d recommend looking else where. Also, put some side pockets for cold hands. Had to constantly unzip my jacket and use my hand warmers on my waders which left me exposed.Lastly, it fit REALLY well. Just fix the rain part and I will buy another.

Great jacket for the price. Has all the pockets and extras needed for a good wading jacket. Only used it twice so far, but kept me dry on a very rainy day and had everything I needed at my ready. Will update review after this springs fishing season. But....so far so good!

The only good thing about this jacket are the pit zips(which could be longer). I tried to give this jacket some fishing time before I gave a review. I have rushed in this jacket plenty and I really dislike it. I have owned a number of different wading jackets and this is by far the worst if the bunch. The stitching on the right wrist cuff Velcro starting to come off and one fishing trip. The wrist cuffs are never tight enough to be watertight which is horrible with cold water. Lastly the jacket is unbelievably stiff. The collar and hood never stay down like they should because of the stiffness of the jacket. The stiffness also limits your ability to be comfortable and do the things you need to do during a day of fishing. Save your money, buy a wading jacket from another company!

I ordered this jacket based on the overall features. This is a very well thought out coat and has been fabricated with great attention to detail. Zipper pockets are well positioned and made with great materials, they have plenty of room for fly box's etc and operate easily with a solid seal when closed. Hood and jacket keep the weather out and fit just right. A solid hook for your net is neatly concealed under a flap at the back of neck, works great. I am very happy with this purchase and have used dozens of times as I live right on one of the best fly fishing rivers in New Eengland. I have plenty of gear from Orvis and 'LL bean, this is made to nearly identical standards.

Great Wadding Jacket. Light Weight, Large front pockets, Well sealed Seams, Attachment points for tools and net, Sealed Zippers, Extra Zippered Vents.....Well Made!!!!!Over the last year gained a little weight, so I bought another one in a XXL, this is a great jacket......
