The 2145-05 offers the benefit of dual tubes in one: The lower tube provides a wide all-purpose ±45º measuring range in 5 degree tic marks, while the upper tube provides an added level of precision with ±5º range in 1 degree tic marks. . All our tubes are filled with a special damping fluid that controls the movement of the ball and will operate in wide MIL SPEC temperatures. The two scales are helpful - would have been nice to have pictures for all sides of product in the Amazon description. Since the description and pictures were lacking, I didn't know if it was going to work for my purposes. I bought this and a different one at the same time. Ultimately, this one worked out and I returned the other make/model. I mounted it on the hood of my riding lawn mower to help keep me from tipping it over.

Cool-looking and bright, but lags somewhat, especially the detail reading vs the general. Pretty nice though!
