Ofcourse it's ridgid, so the price is a premium, but compared to other manufacturers that cut costs with plastic parts, this cutter is worth the price. If taken care of, you can get many years of use from it without any worries, other than theft.

I use it to cut 5 mm wide copper tube to 2mm thin rings. It cutts well, but I find it quite difficult to cut many rings with exactly the same size, the way I need it, because the rollers are sliding sideways freely having 0.60 mm gap big enough to house washers. That gives inconsistencies in the cut sizes, and for that I'm taking one star away.

Ho tagliato un tubo da 15mm spesso 2mm di acciaio inox 316 come se fosse burro, quasi senza sforzo.Ho messo qualche goccia di olio da taglio.Taglio perfetto!Molto comodo l'alesatore estraibile per togliere dall'interno del tubo tagliato i residui di metallo.Presente anche una rondella da taglio di rispetto.Fabbricazione americana e qualità professionale.

I used to use the little, small tubing cutter on my last brake job. I justified buying this one because I was saving $$$ doing the job myself. The RIDGID 32910 Model 10' ease of use and quality of cut made this tool well worth the money. In this case, you truly do get what you pay for. I'll never go back to the cheaper one.

Ridgid tool are not what they used to be since they have outsourced much of the their tool to outside of the US. But this one is sturdy and works great

I have been struggling with an old, cheap tubing cutter for too many years - couldn't even get a replacement blade. This Rigid cutter is heavy duty, designed to cut copper as well as EMT (steel) tubing and has an extra blade on board. As soon as I picked it up I could tell I was going to be happy with it: it weighs quite a bit, which to me is a great indicator that it is well built for the professional or hobbyist. Definitely has my highest recommendation.
