Note that the description says 2-pack, but I only received one. After contacting the seller I received a 50% refund.

Unfortunately my experience with this item did not turn out as well as it did with other reviewers. At first it looked like it would turn out to be a good item to have in your case. However, after a few weeks of use,the small tabs on either side of the retaining lip (the piece that holds the reed flat against the base of the holder) broke off rendering the reed guard useless for it's intended use. I didn't abuse the item, the tabs were just too flimsily made.

Found it very useful. Bought it to share reeds with my daughter. So it does what I expected. Good quality too.

This is a decent reed guard for the price. If you are a professional musician buying very expensive reeds, you will probably want a much fancier case. If you are just buying standard reeds and just don't want them mangled between uses, this will do.
