I love how tiny these are because I have a more shallow piercing. The smaller bars look better. This is super understated and simple, which is exactly what I was looking for now that I am in my early 30s.

My daughter was looking for more belly button rings and this set with the opal one caught her eye. They were easy to put on and secure with the screw on end. They are well-made and the metal has not caused any irritation to her skin. They are a bit shorter than her last ones but also aren't as easily snagged on things. These belly button rings are super cute and perfect for a more subtle look. I got my belly button pierced when I was 19 and I'm in my 30's now, so I like to have a smaller piece of jewelry these days. The gold finish is beautiful, and the opal adds a nice touch of sparkle. I appreciate the internally threaded design—it makes insertion so much smoother and more comfortable. The sizing is great for those who prefer a smaller, more delicate piece of jewelry.

I got the 8mm and I would probably go for a 10 or 12 in the future. I was looking for something simple and surgical steel made and it's great! If you go small like I did, just know that it will not standout all that much and if you have some tub or a lot of tubby in your belly area then I definitely recommend a size bigger to standout a little more. Other than that so cute and I don't even feel it, went right in, no issues since that area is healed.

Make sure you're paying attention to the sizing that you get and that you understand exactly what those sizes mean. If you do both of those things, I don't see why anybody could give these less than five stars. They are exactly as described exactly as pictured and I've been wearing them for 5 days now and there's no irritation. They're super cute! I love dainty little jewelry so it's just perfect for me, especially because I have my navel pierced in three different places. I got the ones with opal and a lot of times when I order opal jewelry that isn't authentic Opal, sometimes it looks cloudy and horrible but this one is really pretty and nice. It's only fair I rate it five stars.

I got this set as I wanted something that was shorter, snug, more discreet and wouldn't catch on the towel when I dry off after a shower! As these don't have any prong settings they should work quite nicely!!! I think the lustrous opal is my favorite!!!
