I am happy with these radios because it was a 10 pack. Works great to keep in contact with everyone at the racetrack. Plenty of distance (hundreds of yards) as long as there aren't hills between you. I had my son go behind a couple hills behind our property and at around 350-400 yards I start losing him. But line of sight, it goes pretty far. Great price based on 10 radios.

This is a good set of walkie talkies and we are using them daily at our work now. They were very easy and straightforward to set up and use. They aren't super big or heavy and are comfortable to hold. They were used in a car for 3 hours straight and the batteries held up very well. In a vehicle or outside the signal is strong and the sound is clear, however it wasn't as strong inside the cement building or in cars that were more than 3 miles away from one another. All in all this is a great set and very convenient for instant on the job communication

These radios work with no issue. They charged up with no problems. I really like the fact you can either charge it with a standard USB-C cable or use the charge cradle if you need to charge two and only use one cord.Having a side and front PTT is actually a very handy feature. It has nice rubber covers over any opening so it appears to be water resistance (rain proof). I do not feel they would secure it very well from a lite submersion but should protect it well if you drop it in a puddle and immediately pick it up.If you are looking at a license free short range option it will work very well.

The Retevis RB48 walkie talkies are solid performers with excellent range and durable construction. They are built to withstand tough conditions, including being waterproof, which is great for outdoor or construction use. However, they are a bit heavier than expected for extended use.
