In case a Yeti in chasing you off his mountain this could be helpful, not just for rappelling but perhaps to crush it's skull.This thing is heavy, I don't you could break it even if rappelling a 3/4 ton truck.It works well enough but think twice before casually attaching this much steel to your harness.

Very solidly made. Its steel and *heavy* But don't have to worry about the anodizing wearing/flaking off as with the aluminum versions.

shipping, packaging, & price good. the item has what looks like a sandblasted finish. Plenty of friction here. steel item wights in at apx. 1lb 7oz. rounded up.

Works like a dream compared to a Fisk for decent. If you plan on making several stops on the way down, like snapping in hardline's on a tower then you may want to go with something that is easier to lock and unlock. Can't beat the value for price though.
