Es un globo muy muy bonito. El detalle está en que, al menos la división política de México no está bien hecha. Considero que podría ser más barato, pero el material y demás están muy bien. Como decorativo, es muy bueno

Looks like the photo in the description. Longitude lines line up (saw some reviews that mentioned that issue). The 12in size is just about right, big enough to see enough detail, not so big it would take up too much space. I like the old world colors -- the ones with bright blue oceans make the continents less dominate, imho. There is just the right amount of relief on 'mountain' ranges. I see nor feel any imperfections. Yes, the stand is 'light weight' - there are versions out there with 'better' stands. This one is stable and works just fine. This is a more than good enough globe - recommended.

This honestly turned out to be an even better globe than I thought I was buying. It's beautiful, the topographical texture is great and very defined, the labels are clear and easy to read, the weight is good, and the spin is very smooth. I haven't studied it enough to make any claims towards it's accuracy, but at the very least it seems up to date. I am extremely pleased with it and I have no complaints

I wish I could give this no stars at all. I was so excited to receive our first globe for our homeschool and thought I had invested in a great quality globe, at this price. Unfortunately, you don’t alwahs get what you pay for. I seem to have received a very generic version of what is actually pictured for this globe. The “metal” is actually flimsy, shiny, and super lightweight. The base isn’t even good enough quality to hold the globe still as you try to spin it.The globe also has multiple tears throughout. I provided pictures of just some of the tears. If you compare the product picture to the picture I provided, you can see all of the black “metal” on the globe I received looks very different than the apparent “high quality” metal in the picture, as described.Buyer beware. As of right now, the listing states there are no more available, which is a good thing. If this item is restocked, please save your money and find a better, good quality globe. This thing isn’t worth $20, much less the $65 I paid for it, which makes me sad.

I bought this for my 9 yr old son for Christmas as he’s been wanting a better globe than my old inaccurate antique one I’ve got. I am very impressed with how beautiful this is! And he loves that you can feel the little mountain ranges throughout. It even has ships named on it with the dates and people who sailed them. The packaging it came in was secured well with cardboard so it doesn’t flop around the box. The stand it’s on seems a little cheap/flimsy though and the surface of the globe seems like it’s a paper overwrap which easily scratches. Maybe that’s just how they make globes nowadays but my older one felt like tin or something much stronger.

My comments are based on many negative reviews in 2015 that I read before ordering in June 2016. I ordered this globe after reviewing all of the comments and decided to take a chance that I would receive a good product (and because of Amazon's friendly return policy). The globe that arrived today was in good condition, good working order, and very reasonably lined up (longitude and latitude lines). The lines were off slightly, but close enough to uphold the cost and value of this globe. I also found no chipped paint or other damage or imperfections. It's a beautiful office/home piece if you get one like I received and with the quality expected to receive; therefore, it's worth 5-Stars.

Better quality than I had expected.. The raised relief is more prominent than expected and a nice tactile experience. The base is also somewhat heavier and better than I expected. This will be a christmas gift for my 10 year old son who loves globes and geography and I think he will love using it. I also picked up a globe from the 1950s at a thrift shop because I think he will have fun spotting the differences between them. The various ships printed on the oceans are an awesome bonus as that's another big area of interest for him.Plus I feel globes are forever cool. Even when they become old and "obsolete" they are still really attractive and they also lend themselves to all sorts of class and art projects (check out pinterest).
