When boiling chicken carcass for broth, you can add this bag with all your veggies in there to cook and give your broth a lot more flavour. You have a Choice to add the veggies at the beginning and take them out after 30 or 40 minutes or add them 3040 minutes after that boiling starts either way picking up the flavour of the veggies

I ordered this because I was having a clambake. It made portioning everything much easier.

We used to tie up our separate ingredients with cheesecloth for New England clam boils. This product is a little more expensive but makes the process much easier—they’re a good size for fitting all of your separate stuff, and when you’re finished, you can just pull them out with no mess!

These bags did not disappoint. I expected them to fall apart in boiling water, but to my surprise, they did not. They are the perfect size and their durability is amazing.

These are a little flimsy especially if you call on them to perform rough duty. I had hoped to use them for our master clam bake this summer...to hold the clams and maybe chorizo, but when I saw them, I decided to cook the sausages on the grill and to just throw the clams on the kelp without a wrap. Probably fine for a less rigorous application.
