By using this higher quality raw material, Reed cutter wheels can be made thinner and can therefore cut pipe more easily and leave less burr. What I like the most is the fact that I can cut 3" s40 abs and pvc. Some thing that was very difficult with the original cutting wheel that came with my new Reed pipe cutting tool.

This cutting wheel is awesome for most PVC pipes, I did use it on 3 inch Solid Core PVC and it makes the pipe expand so it's difficult to glue it. So make sure to use this wheel on coextruded PVC pipe, I believe that's the name. It works amazing, but yeah avoid using it on solid core pipe.
