I ordered this for my husband to use for ID checking. I ordered myself a different one because this one looked so big and bulky and I thought it would be too much of a hassle to use. I was so wrong! The clarity, magnification, LED lights, and UV lights all surpassed the one I brought for myself. With mine I spent a while searching for the micro print every time I used it (if you ID check you know what I am talking about). With this one no searching needed. Everything was clear as day! Needless to say I returned mine and I brought myself this one.To wear around your neck with a lanyard just place a zip tie around the base, as shown in the picture and attach the lanyard. Worked Great. Oh and I would definitely purchase again!

This loupe is well made and feels good in the hands. The lights are a great feature that are very useful. I really doubt it really is a 60X magnification based on a side by side comparison with a known 60X loupe. Regardless of the actual magnification level, it does exactly what I need it to do, so much so I purchased another one.

I had higher hopes for this magnifier than what it does in actuality. Know going into the purchase that there is no adjusting the focal length of the viewer. Your target to look at must be at the distance of the base from you. You won’t be able to place objects within that space and see any details clearly. There is no adjusting of the brightness of the lights either. The UV light function seems to be a bit underpowered in my experience. It does Exactly as it shows. It would be a much better viewer if they allowed a little bit of adjustment to the focal point as I have found times when I could really use it to help me keep my hands free to look at something but I need a bit of focus change to be able to see it clearly but that is not an option. The lights could use a bit more power and would benefit greatly if they could be adjustable in their brightness but aren’t. The technical build problem I have had is that the actual charging port on the device is sunken down below the metal body of the magnifier. To get the charging cable to slide in requires pushing up and in to align the internal port with the hole in the frame.
