Camera works and has track line. The problem however is on the product images, it shows that the track line curves just like the original camera. This does not, it is a stationary track line.

We have a 2015 Ford Taurus and our rear backup camera has been intermittently working. I watched a couple videos on YT and thought it would be easy to replace. Amazon had the best prices. I chose one that was around $50, but there were less expensive and some more. AutoZone and those auto parts places were selling for $300+. The Ford dealership was selling for $550+ a lot more in labor. You basically need 2 tools: something to pry the trunk clips out and a star allen (I can't remember the size). Once I had the part (Prime) and opened the trunk, it took about 20 minutes to get all the trunk clips out, remove the old camera (there was a bar across it that you need the star allen) and replace with the new camera, reattach the bar, and then put back the clips. Easy peasy. Grateful to God that He led me to those YT videos. This camera is better than the Ford OEM that came with the car.Highly Recommend

Picture was very clear, but even properly installed the view was crooked...making navigating using it hazardous. Hopefully ours was just a bad unit, returning it was super easy, so ultimately glad we tried buying this cheap one before springing for a more expensive NOS one found elsewhere.

I have a 2013 Ford Taurus with 201000 miles and the camera started to flip and not work and I heard it’s usually the camera and sure enough it was and it’s not like a dealers camera that is 500$ but for 50$ it’s great it was hard to get used to and how to park but I finally have a back up camera! Easy install!

Well the installment was pretty easy, the image quality is clear, there is a minor issue though, the backup lines need adjustment, they are not in place, but I don’t care I don’t rely much on them when parking my car. I will update the review if needed

Not bad for the price but you get what you pay for and the picture quality is not the best but it still works as intended. It was pretty much identical to my old one and installed easily. Way better than spending $300 on a factory one

I was able to install this camera in just15 minutes! I watched several YouTube videos and followed their advice. Just 2 1/2 years ago, I spent over $700 at my Ford dealership to replace my original camera, which was acting up. Just last week, I got the upside-down image on console screen, so I knew I was ready for another camera replacement. However, this time I was not ready to spend a fortune at the dealership to fix this issue! This camera works well, and my model only has the red-yellow-green lines, which appear to be properly aligned. I am wondering if those with misalignment issues properly seated the camera when installing. On the defective camera that I removed, it did have the Ford logo and part number on there, so I am very disappointed that the genuine Ford part lasted less than 3 years.Update 5.05.24 - I now have noticed that my guide lines are off center. There are some videos out there that you have to calibrate the camera using the Forscan program.

Camera works and clarity is as good as stock camera but the guidelines are crooked and angled to the left so it makes backing up a little disorienting. Should have spent the extra money for the MasterTailgater version.

**UPDATE, Feb. 2023**The camera is still working, but the image has deteriorated quite a bit. It is no longer a "clear" and clean video image, and has many "artifacts" present on the display. Light areas are distorted, and dark areas sort of "glimmer"... hard to describe, but they are there (and yes: the lens is clean). The vehicle display (inside) is operating normally otherwise.Anyway, for the price, I guess this replacement camera better than nothing. But still disappointed in the quality, and longevity.Buyer Beware!************************************ORIGINAL REVIEW:This camera corrected the "upside down" image on the display when in reverse, which is a common failure on the Ford Taurus (mine is 2015 SEL model).Checking various online forums indicated that this is a fairly common occurrence, and indicative of a failed camera unit. I ordered this unit, and installed it upon delivery. The new camera looked identical to the OEM unit that was removed, and once installed, the display is back to working normally when in reverse.Install was very easy: Just remove the inner, molded "carpet" cover on the inside of the trunk lid (remove the plastic push-pins and the pull-handle screws); unplug the camera harness wire; remove the camera retaining screw... Reverse procedure to install. Very simple, and much cheaper than a dealer visit (figure over $300 if done by a dealer).
