The tube on this tool is welded. In order to use it you must take a file to the inside of the tube and remove the burrs so that the tube will slide over the axle.

I recently used the Rear Axle Bearing Puller and Installer ABS Tone Ring Tool Wheel Bearing Removal Tool compatible with 1995-2020 Toyota 4Runner and pickups. I needed to replace the wheel bearings on my 4Runner and this tool made the job much easier. The tool itself was of excellent quality. I felt confident that my job was going to be done right and with no issues or hiccups. The product is well worth the cost and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to replace wheel bearings on their Toyota 4Runner.

I used this to replace rear axle bearings on a 2005 Toyota Tundra with ABS. Getting everything pressed apart was quick and easy. But....I thought to the silver ring was used to press the axle into to bearing. WRONG! Don't do what I did and get it stuck on the axle. I got it off with great effort. Don't use the silver ring to press anything onto the axle. I haven't figured what part of this tool is used to press the axle into the bearing and the lock ring onto the shaft. But forget all that BS. Go to your local hardware store and buy a line post or black pipe to pound your bearing, lock ring, snap ring and token ring in place. There's a video on You Tube that shows someone using a pipe to this. So much easier and quicker. I do like the tool it's well made. Just figuring out how to use it to put everything back together can be confusing.

The tool did work very well I had no problem with it's construction or it's usability it would be better if I had some detailed instructions on how to use it it took a long time to get the interface with my axle and backing plate I spent two hours cutting bearings off when the tool had a part to remove them and I couldn't find instructions no matter where I looked. Perhaps if there was a site that they offer a detailed instruction on they should've had it on the single sheet of paper in the box. The paper had vague and slightly confusing steps that didn't quite get the job done.but it is a quality tool and they did ship it and it arrived next day.
