I was surprised by how big this pillow is. It is very firm and not "soft memory foam" as described which is a good thing, I think. It took a whole day for it to expand to its full size. I find that it does not fit in the recliner that I like to work from. It's fine if I sit on a sofa, an oversized chair or in bed. Pay attention to the size to make sure it fits your needs.

While this looks ridiculous, it actually works great. I am the worst when it comes to playing a video game or trying to do work on my laptop on my lap. My positions are terrible and lead to very poor posture. This helps me ensure that I have great posture when I play video games or do work on my laptop/iPad. The only annoying part is that I don't use it constantly, so finding where to store it can be a burden. The benefits do outweigh the annoyance, but I do wish there was a way it could store more compactly. Though if it did, I probably wouldn't use it because it would be tucked away!

I'm a big guy - 6'5" and weigh north of 250lbs. For years, I've used a lap desk made for folks much smaller than me. While they mostly work, they feel like they're made for children. I came to Amazon to find a larger lap desk and was excited to find a lap desk that promised to be MUCH larger than what I was used to. If you look at the seventh picture that the seller uploaded, you'll note the product's measurements - 70" (almost 6'!) wide, 45" long, and 27" high.When I received the item, I was a little perplexed because the box was tiny for such a large desk. I unboxed it and found it was vacuum-sealed which made it seem slightly more plausible. If you've ever ordered a memory-foam mattress, chances are it came in a modest-sized box that didn't seem possible or capable of holding a queen or king sized mattress. I figured this desk relied on the same principle. After slicing open the vacuum sealed bag and letting it sit overnight, it expanded appreciably but to nowhere near the stated dimensions.I've included a few pictures of the fully-expanded desk. You'll note the actual dimensions are 27" wide, 22" long, and 10" tall. This isn't even half the size that the seller represents.As a result, I would not recommend this item for folks looking for a large-format lap desk. This is barely usable for me and is nowhere near what the seller represents. It does seem nicely constructed, but it's not for me.

This thing is a little bit of a rip off at the current price of 59$. While it does function the way you'd expect, it helps with neck strain and it's convenient to use when you're in bed or watching something on tv and working on your laptop. the only thing is, it looks a little silly to someone looking at you using it. I guess that's just my opinion. But personally, I feel like using this as a laptop perch id have to put a laptop fan cooler underneath anyways because the material this is made out of wouldn't ventilate good with the laptop. So in effect, I could basically just put the laptop cooling fan in place of this so for my use I didn't find the utility to be as useful as 59$ worth. That's my two cents no pun intended.

In my wife's own words; "Sturdy yet soft." My wife uses this pillow with her food tray and laptop. Both of which she's had told me of how much easier it has made life. The large grooves makes this practical for most body types. I only used it once to have chilli dogs and it I was able to have a meal as clean as chilli dogs would allow. The pocket to hold the remote is a life saver. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who spend a lot of time on the couch or even bed.

Between my fiber crafting and my Steam Deck, I'm constantly looking down to something in my lap in my free time. And it really started to become a pain in the neck!This thing has been a game changer. Whether I'm playing a game or leaning my quilting frame against it, it's made my life a lot more comfortable. I really love the pockets - I was recently working on a quilting project for which I needed 3 small items - spool of quilting thread, thimble, & needle-puller. I kept losing them around the house as I carried the project around with me... but once I got this pillow they just hung out in the pockets! It was awesome.Thoroughly recommend!!
