Ravenox 5/8-Inch Heavy Duty Metal Rope and Cable Clamps

The Ravenox Double Rope Clamp is designed to easily clamp two ropes or two parts of a rope. Form an eye in rope by making rope loop ends or fasten various types of rope & cordage.
These metal clamps are 2.6mm thick and are heavy-duty. For a lighter, easier to close metal rope clamp check out the Ravenox medium-duty rope clamps which are made from 1.1mm stamped steel.
These 5/8-inch rope clamps are designed for 1/2-inch or 5/8-inch twisted or braided ropes & wire cables. With a 5/8-inch rope the ends of the clamp will meet together when clamped, with a 1/2-inch rope the ends of the clamp will overlap slightly.
Our durable, long-lasting double rope clamps are available in a variety of long-lasting metals. The cast steel clamps are available as zinc plated or brass plated to prevent corrosion & rust. The stainless steel variant excels at taking heavy impacts without deforming, breaking, or bending due to an impressive ability to withstand high stress. The solid brass variant has a beautiful copper look and is resistant to corrosion and heat. Solid brass clamps tend to accept welding better than stainless steel. The nickel plated over solid brass is a high-end rope clamp that has the malleable properties of brass with a nickel plate for a silver look.
All Ravenox rope clamps are ideal for securing rope, cordage and wire and prevent slipping.
Assembly
The rope clamps are commonly closed on the rope using a vice or hammer and will hold 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch rope. Great for dog leashes, key chains, horse leads, bridle reins, pulley's, dock, fender lines and much more.

Maybe theyre made for cheap rope, but they wont fit high quality double braid polyester rope. Even in a vise one end wont even start, and if it were to, the tabs wouldnt be long enough to fold over anyways

these clamps were exactly as described--suitable for thicker rope, up to 5/8". they are very heavy duty. I don't think they will deteriorate and rust like the last ones I had. I expect them to last longer than the rope.

Used on boat anchor rope, worked great so far. Last set were galvanized and still rusted.

These rope clamps were perfect for a 20 year old swing set renovation. Was able to re-rope all of the swings to make them better than brand new. Super strong clamps that will definitely last the next 20 years and more.

The Clips arrived On time and in excellent condition. I used my 1st one to create a 25' Longeline. The clip worked perfectly to create an attachment loop for the snap. I would recommend these clips for the repair of braided 1/2" or 5/" line.

Really great quality! They're not kidding when they say "heavy duty". I used them to make my dog a rope leash (see the attached picture) and they work great. The rope I used is a 1/2" cotton horse lead. I tried hammering the clamps shut, but I actually had the best luck closing them with a big channel-lock wrench tool, also pictured.

These clamps are very strong. I make horse leads on my own to save money and know a good clamp when I see one. These clamps are made from a strong metal and hold the rope tight. Some folks like to use a hammer or a vice to close the clamp around the rope. I have a mechanical vice that works well. I'd be more worried about the rope breaking than I would about the rope coming out of this clamp. It holds tight and doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. Couldn't recommend it more.
