This is like a little cheat code for getting my soda stream to use the glass carafes. I like the plastic bottles when I toss them in my bag or when I am on travel, but at home I prefer the glass. The one draw-back that I saw mentioned and I experienced it myself was that water was not getting carbonated enough. The glass needs to be over-filled for the soda stream to get the CO2 nozzle into the water. Once that was sorted, everything was all good!I haven't noticed any leaks or pressure issues like some, but I would note that there is a gasket inside the soda stream that can get dirty and might be the suspect of issues.Otherwise, this is a solid, but slightly overpriced product. It can be found for less in other stores. That said, I am still very happy about this adapter!

Soda Stream is pretty proprietary, so this is quite helpful to use for some other types of bottles rather than buying directly from them.

This does not work, it leaks water everywhere. It probably should come with a washer to make it seal proof but it does not

If you are going to make claims that product A will fit product B and it does not then you waste the customer's time, shipping, company resources, rework, etc.Not only does it not fit it isn't even close.

It doesn’t fit the soda stream machine snugly and water shoots out the top of the bottle into the soda stream. A monstrous waste of money for a piece of plastic that is ineffective

EDIT: Since I've been using it more I've discovered that both the spill and carbonation issue is resolved by overfilling the water and ensuring a secure connect when loading the bottle into the Sodastream. The spilling I experienced was because I was hastily loading the bottle -- and filling just to the bottle line has resulted is less carbonation. Learning these has made the product perfect. So I'm updating my review to 5 stars :)--Since there are no other reviews I guess I will be the first! I have been using the plastic bottle for years and hate how dirty they can get and that the base falls off after a year or so of use. However, I didn't love the idea of purchases a newer, more expensive machine just to have access to Glass Bottles.I decided to buy a SodaStream Glass Carbonating Carafe and this attachment to see if that was a solve for my desire for glass bottles (and with the bottle only being $14, it may the cost of this adaptor more bearable.) I am happy to report that the attachment works and is very easy to use and attach! The only difference I have seen from the traditional plastic bottles is carbonation sensitivity -- with the glass bottle I have to be more careful not not overfill the water and tend to need less CO2 to get the same carbonation or else some water can spill (but nothing unlike I've experienced with the normal plastic bottles.)I have a SodaStream Terra that I purchased in 2018 (I doubt that an earlier model would change anything, but I thought I would clarify)

This adapter is easy to use in the SodaStream with a standard soda bottle. It's equally easy to clean.A big negative is the price. It's bordering on a theft-premium now that I've found its competitor on another site for 40% of the price. Ouch!
