Rubber plugs are to be used to place in Nut Rivets to prevent dust-blocking threads whilst bolts are removed.

I used these plugs to plug a thick plastic button accordion fingerboard with very close buttons for painting a candy color. However, I did not anticipate poor paint coverage due to the 2mm space between holes and had to start over. Luckily I had a spare fingerboard and cut the plugs just over the painted are to clear the way for the aerosol paint and 2K clear. I also made the village idiot mistake of taking the plugs out before the paint fully dried and paint chips popped off on to the tacky/wet clear. Wait for the product to fully dry before taking the plugs out and save yourself the heartache of staring at an expensive mistake.Other than that, I highly recommend these plugs. They're very soft, matte, non oleaginous,odder free and do not stick to paint.
