Not the easiest to install but not the worst either. Definitely worth the time and money.

I installed these Progressive front shock inserts into my 2007 Heritage Harley-Davidson. I am extremely happy with the results and feel as though I have a completely different bike! Highly recommended! Eliminates that scary dive when hitting bumps in corners or applying front brakes.

Pain in the ass installing. I’m not a mechanic so by saying that. If I can do it you can do it. I haven’t had them on the bike more than 2 days. They seem pretty good so far no complaints

Quality item. Works great on the bike. The instructions are not so great, be sure you follow the manual. Not everything is included in their instructions so you have to read back and forth for yourself. Overall happy with the inserts! A great engineered design!

I recently replaced the16 inch stock wheels on my 2011 Softail Deluxe with a 21 inch front wheel and an 18 inch rear. I had researched and learned that many of those who put a 21 inch wheel on their bikes also lower the front forks to compensate for the increased hieght. I debated whether or not to do so and initially had the wheels installed without lowering the front. Well, once the wheels were installed i wuickly realized that the increased height caused by bike to both look and ride extremly high. A week later I purchased and had my lical harley shop install the lowered monotubes. For those who are planning on going with a 21 inch front wheel, take it from me that lowering the front of your bike is a MUST do and there is not a better option then the progressive monotubes. I went with a 1 inch drop using the progressive spring and TWO C-clips per side which i believe provided about 1.5 inch drop to the front of my bike. The bike both loons and rides:handles great. Tryst me and get the monotubes ibstalked alobg with the new wheels as it will save money on labor if you are havingvyour local shop do the work snd it will save you time if you are doing the eork yourself.

Rides great there is no diving feels super solid. You can do this swap without a fork rebuild seal kit! They only recommend putting in 5oz of oil so its not under pressure anyway if your seals are good you can reuse them by not taking apart the upper tubes from the lower fork sliders. Mine went onto a 2012 softail deluxe. I used the one spring on the method with 4 c clips for a 1" drop its a little more than 1" drop tho. (This will make sense if you look at the instructions) Also it shows two bump stop springs if you would like a 2" drop the shorter one shown is the stock spring.Update**Went in and removed 2 of the 4 c clips and the ride has softened up dramatically but still no dive. I would suggest doing this from the start.

I bought this item through Amazon for the free shipping. It did not have the top out springs.I had to call Progressive Suspension and they were kind enough to ship the part to me no charge. There was some kind of disconnect maybe someone ordered it took a part out and returned it but who knows.Amazon also did not have any other in stock to ship me out a new one. All in all this delayed me putting the front end of my motorcycle by a week.
