Product Description

Prince of Peace, tea

Naturally-Grown Tea

White Tea from Prince of Peace is made from naturally grown leaves and buds that are picked at a young age. Using a Zhenge-style of processing, Prince of Peace White Tea has a rich aroma and full-bodied taste. A typical cup of premium grade white tea has about 10–20 mg of caffeine while a cup of coffee ranges from 100–180 mg.

The Historical Importance of Tea

Tea has been enjoyed for several thousand years. In many countries, it is a part of the culture, everyday life, and even regarded as an art form. Tea brings people together, is relaxing, and may be good for overall health. Plus, it is loaded with antioxidants to support a healthy lifestyle.

Premium Quality Tea

White Tea from Prince of Peace has zero calories, sugar, fat, or sodium. This tea variety is unlikely to dehydrate the body because it contains such a small amount of caffeine in comparison to coffee.

A low caffeine, good tasting alternative to black tea. I've lost count of the number of boxes I've bought.

Lovely tea and you can make it as strong or weak as you like. Full of anti-oxidants but not caffeine free. I love this and is my go-to cuppa.

Nice mild tea. Was a great price until more people caught on that White tea is higher in antioxidants than Green.

I'm a bit of a tea snob, but was looking for an alternative to the £20 100g bags of loose peony I buy. This tea is nowhere near as good as that, but it is £8 cheaper and was sent out considerably faster than the other product as well.I can get approx 2x steeps out of the teabag, when I use a teapot, but have to brew the 2nd one for 30s longer (3mins first then 3.30 second)I'd consider buying this tea again as it is pleasant for the price, but its not in the same ball park as considerably more expensive teas.

Let me be honest... I have never been a big fan of tea. I have always been a morning coffee drinker and never developed a taste for tea (although I will say that some of the coffee I have drank at the office might be considered a type of tea due to how terribly weak it's brewed sometimes). Being a coffee drinker I know that different brands and roasts of coffee present different qualities and a wide range of experiences. I wanted to give tea a fair shake, so I experimented with some tea at Teavana. Everything I was exposed to there was not my cup of tea ;-) Due to some health issues I had to give up coffee for a season, but I wanted something hot to drink in the morning. I decided to give tea a try again and decided to do my research. I discovered Prince of Peace tea and was impressed with all of the positive reviews and how affordable it was. I decided to give it a try and was completely surprised at how enjoyable it was. This tea doesn't have the nasty tart aftertaste that most bagged teas have. It is so smooth and mild. I love drinking mine with one packet of Stevia. Delicious. If you are not a tea drinker, but want an enjoyable tea experience then get Prince of Peace tea.

I didn't actually notice that this was the non-organic version until it arrived, though that doesn't bother me. One other difference is the amount of tea per bag. My last batch of organic from POP had 2 grams per individual bag, and this one has 1.8 grams per bag. This won't affect anyone much. I used to get 6 large cups out of the old 2g bags. White tea just brews a little more than an equal amount of more processed teas. I mostly drink 3 to 4 cups a tea these days, and the 1.8 gram bags manage that just fine. I also sense no difference in taste between the organic and non-organic versions. In the future, I'll buy whichever I can find cheaper. This is, in addition to being a bargain, a cheap quality of tea. You get what you pay for and cheap is exactly what I'm looking for, personally. It doesn't have as delicate a taste as some more expensive batches, and it can be a bit harsh, but I drink mine straight up without sugar or any other flavoring. It still provides that clear headed feeling that is the trademark of a good caffeine and l-theanine balance, and it's still a great source of antioxidants. Healthy dietary choices are normally a lot more expensive than this.
