I was using this on my MTB bc stock cover came with a separate lower gasket that was shot. But my stock cap had a built in space under it that is beveled and rests against the bearings to preload them. I had to take a small stem spacer, chamfer it with a file and install it under this to get it to work. It is high quality, and might have been the wrong part for my application, but o was able to get it to work with that fix.

This cap allowed me to get the front end lower than I could with the oem bearing cap I had previous. No issues and looks clean! Took a bit to receive but no issues other than that.

Took a few weeks to get here, shipped direct from China. This is what you use to slam your stem. It has some goofy logo on it, no idea where the name came from or what it means. Whatever, it's sturdy and precisely made CNC aluminum, red anodized, looks pro. It has a rubber/ silicone gasket inside where it goes over the steerer tube, very snug fit so it'll stay in place and water will not get in. You need to use spacers to get the height right- it will sit on the upper head set bearing and rotate with it, then you may need to use spacers to place it JUST above the mating surface of your frame. You don't want it to touch, it'll rub, but you don't want a gap either because dust and water will get in and contaminate your bearing. There is a second large silicone gasket on the lower surface to seal it. It should just kiss the top of the head tube of the frame. I had to do a bit of juggling with spacers to get it just right, but once it is, it's money. Stem absolutely slammed to the bottom.
